The Spruce Groove Grain Elevator Museum was an excellent place to visit. The summer student that gave us a tour was very knowledgeable and made the history of the place feel tangible. We really enjoyed the tour and gained valuable insight into how the elevator worked and how the people that manned it would have been arranged. I highly recommend the tour. It really made the place come alive
Took the kids here last Saturday afternoon and was surprised by how much they got into it, especially the old grain scale they actually got to try out. The staff were genuinely friendly and took time to explain things in a way that made sense to a seven and nine year old. It's a smaller museum so we were in and out in about an hour, which is honestly perfect for us since keeping two kids engaged any longer is a challenge. Really glad we stopped in, it's a cool little piece of local history and the kids are still talking about it.
Historical place in Spruce Grove. It's incredible that more than 50 years ago they were 3 grain elevators and a train station. There are tours during summer weekends.
This society oversees the Spruce Grove Grain Elevator and the Farmers Market in Spruce Grove. They are doing an excellent job at taking care of these things. The grounds where the grain elevator is and the farmers market is, is clean and well taken care of.
Beautifully preserved and restored historic grain elevator. The city of Spruce Grove has done an amazing job with this!
