Amazing experience. This not-for-profit is exactly what the community needs. Good company run by good people doing good things. I am beyond satisfied and will use their services for all of my future mechanical needs. I will also be recommending it to anyone that asks.

I had a great experience with Good News Auto! I took a vehicle in for a pre purchase inspection and they were very thorough in their analysis. Unfortunately I didn’t buy the vehicle as they found a lot of issues, but I also called the next day and they gave me a lot of free advice which I appreciated. I found them to be a bit more expensive than the other shops on the area, but all around, great crew working here!

I went to Good News Auto for the first time for an oil change service. The place was easy to find and parking in front of the shop was easy, too. Chris and Shelene were very nice and professional. I felt welcome and that they took pride in the work they do. They told me the price and estimated time needed to get it done up front and I was able to sit in a couch and stay cool on the hot day while waiting. The service was completed on time and they did not try to sell me anything I did not need. My keys were returned to me after the payment and my vehicle was right there in the parking lot. I started the vehicle without any problems. I did notice a smell of oil/gas in the air which went away as soon as I opened the windows. I also noticed that they put a new sticker on the windshield to remind me of when the next service is due. I believe I will come back when I need to have my vehicle serviced again.

This place is so great to deal with, from the moment I called to book an appointment all the way through to payment. I've been looking for a new shop to maintain my suv and I'm positive this is the last place I will go. I was met at reception with pleasant smiles for all the front end staff, Chris the owner popped out to say hello, my appointment time was just that and not a drop off time. My vehicle was serviced as I requested, at the time I was booked in for and requested services were completed in a timely fashion. Don't second guess going to Good News Auto, call and book in today.

We started having issues after our SUV wouldn't start while we were on vacation. After replacing the starter, the SUV still struggled to turn over for months before oddly seeming to fix itself. When the problem came back, we had it looked at a few times, but because the issue was so intermittent, no one was able to pinpoint the cause. Most places felt the starting issues were likely related to low engine oil, so we kept a close eye on the oil level and topped it up whenever needed. As time went on, the issues became even more concerning. The driver's door would no longer unlock while the other doors would, and the liftgate refused to open whenever the vehicle was off. It was incredibly frustrating not knowing what was causing all these problems. After a quick Google search, we found Good News Auto, and we're so glad we did. At first, they had a hard time replicating the issue, but they didn't give up. They kept working at it until they were finally able to reproduce the problem and found the real cause: an overheating fuse box that was melting the wiring, along with a loose positive battery wire. After a few days in the shop (and a few days in one of their rental vehicles), we finally got our SUV back, actually fixed after months of trying to figure out what was wrong. Everyone at Good News Auto was so kind, honest, and genuinely wanted to help. We couldn't be more thankful that we found them. They'll definitely be our first choice for any future vehicle issues (hopefully not anytime soon!), and we'll happily recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic. Thank you so much!
