Kal Tire

I recently brought in four loose tires to Kal Tire to have them balanced. After installing them at home, I noticed on the last tire that there were no weights installed, and during a test drive there was a noticeable vibration. I returned the following day and explained the issue. Initially, there was some confusion, but after rechecking, the team confirmed the tire did require weights and corrected the problem. I do want to highlight that the manager, Andrew, stepped in and addressed the situation professionally. He made things right and ensured I left as a satisfied customer. That level of accountability and follow through made a big difference. While the initial experience wasn’t perfect, the way it was handled afterward shows strong customer service. I appreciate the effort to correct the issue, and because of that, I will return and would recommend Kal Tire to friends and family.

I wanted to take the time to formally recognize and thank an employee named Danielle at your Kal Tire location for the incredible compassion, professionalism, and customer service he showed my wife and I during an extremely difficult situation. We had been having an emotionally overwhelming night involving serious family matters, and on top of everything else, we ended up with a screw in one of our tires that caused it to rapidly deflate. We were stranded in a parking lot and desperately trying to find help. We called over ten different shops, including our dealership, but due to seasonal tire changeover, nobody was willing or able to fit us in. The situation was especially stressful because my wife had an MRI appointment she has been waiting nearly two years for, and missing it simply was not an option. When we finally called Kal Tire, Danielle listened to our situation with genuine empathy. He told us he understood because he had family dealing with the healthcare system as well, and after briefly putting us on hold, he came back and told us to bring the vehicle in despite how backed up they already were. Unfortunately, after arriving, it turned out the sidewall of the tire had been damaged while trying to get there, meaning a patch was no longer possible. We were devastated to learn that no replacement tire was available until Monday. However, Danielle still went above and beyond trying to help us. He encouraged us to see if we could locate a matching tire elsewhere and assured us that if we found one, he would still mount and swap it for us to get us safely back on the road. We managed to locate the same tire at Canadian Tire, called him back, and without hesitation he told us to bring it over. He personally helped install it and got everything taken care of so we could safely get back on the road and make it home. That level of kindness and humanity is incredibly rare. Danielle treated us like people, not just customers, during one of the most stressful nights we’ve had in a long time. Because of him, we were able to safely make it home and ensure my wife could attend her important medical appointment. Employees like Danielle are the reason people continue supporting businesses like Kal Tire. I truly hope his efforts are recognized because he went far beyond what anyone would reasonably expect. My son had a tire plugged and that same tire had another leak that was just discovered as he was leaving to go out of town for work Ken got him in immediately, They ended up having to switch all four rubbers because his current rubber was discontinued. They did all this and got him on his way in record time. Totally went above and beyond very very appreciative.thank you so much
