Parlour Barba Co

Been here twice now and both experiences have been top notch. Both times I have gotten my hair cut by a "new talent" barber, first by Maddison and the 2nd time by Zac, and in both experience they were very friendly, easy to talk to and clearly well trained/practiced and I have been very happy with my haircut both times. I have longer hair and wasn't interested in a fade cut, and they handled it perfectly.

We recently visited this hair salon to get haircuts for my two sons (6 and 5 years old), and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. During the haircut, I had to repeatedly point out areas that needed fixing. After finishing my older son’s haircut, he sat next to me, and I clearly noticed that the hair around his temples was not trimmed properly — it was uneven and sticking out. The lighting inside the salon is quite poor, which makes it difficult to clearly see whether the haircut is done well or not. My younger son’s haircut was even worse. The front was cut unevenly. It was supposed to be a “bowl cut” (I showed a reference picture), but the result looked very unprofessional and nothing like the reference. I do not feel comfortable posting photos of my children, but please believe me when I say that for the price we paid, the quality was very low. The interior of the salon is beautiful, but unfortunately, the service and professionalism did not meet expectations. I think it would be better to share photos of the results along with the reference picture I provided (attached below). I usually don’t like posting photos of my children, but in this case, I believe it’s important to show the difference between what was requested and what we actually received. The haircut does not match the reference at all, and the quality does not justify the price. The price was also surprisingly high for the quality of service. We paid $35 + tax per child for the haircut, and $40 + tax including hair washing. What was especially confusing is that we were charged for washing, yet there was still hair left on my child’s head afterward. I’m honestly not sure how the hair was washed if loose hair was still clearly visible. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality of their work.

I come to Parlour Barba for about 2 years now and I absolutely love it. Connor is always doing an amazing job. He is very attentive to my needs, professional and I totally trust his skills. I am very happy each time I leave and would confidently recommend his service to anyone. Thank you, Connor!

Just happened upon Parlour Barba in Highstreet and was in bad need of a cut. Booking online was super easy - even for this old man and the atmosphere, bar service and barber talent was top notch. Isobel was awesome and knows what she is doing. Highly recommended!

First visit at the High Street location. It was top tier from phone call through to finished work. Zac’s commitment to service and precision hair cutting raises the Bar ba experience for anyone who enters the shop. I left with expectations fully exceeded. Huge thanks Zac ! Daryl
