Café Bloom at the Muttart Conservatory is such a wonderful place to stop for a coffee and a treat. They have some of the best gluten-free cakes we’ve had—fresh, delicious, and with a great selection. The service was friendly, and the seating area is bright, beautiful, and so relaxing. Whether you’re visiting the conservatory or just looking for a cozy café, Café Bloom is definitely worth a visit.
I cannot express enough gratitude for Emma, and the entire Cafe Bloom team. We had our wedding recently with the Muttart Conservatory and Cafe Bloom for catering, and dealing with Emma was a pleasure. She is very prompt and incredibly attentive to her clients. And the food!!! From the very first tasting, to the wedding itself, we cannot stop dreaming about the food. We got the family style dinner and did the chicken for the main - all of our guests restrictions were followed to a T and everyone cannot stop raving about the food!! It's been a month now and we still have people saying how good the food was. Thank you again, and I would highly recommend them for all occasions.
What an incredible experience — truly one of the best brunch experiences we’ve had in Edmonton! To clarify for anyone reading, we booked one of the private dome for Mother’s Day, which is a unique experience separate from the standard Café Bloom setup. Huge shout out to Wade (the owner) and the entire team for going above and beyond. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by warm, friendly staff and shown into a beautifully set up dome — it honestly felt magical. FOOD: 10/10. Because it was Mother’s Day, we had a set pre-paid menu — and it exceeded our expectations! We started with a generous charcuterie board with cheeses and pastries, followed by a delicious brisket breakfast bowl with fresh greens, and finished with two massive dessert platters. Coffee and tea were included, along with mimosas. The mimosas leaned a little heavy on the OJ for our taste, so we asked if we could purchase a bottle of bubbly on the side — and Wade kindly brought one out for us on the house, which was such a thoughtful touch. At one point, we were trying to figure out what made the salad dressing so good, when the chef came to visit our table! We asked him about it, and after a chat, he returned to our table with a container of it to take home! Above and beyond in every way. SERVICE: Genuinely some of the best service I’ve experienced. Wade is incredibly personable and clearly cares about every guest having a great experience. Our server was attentive and friendly, and having the chef visit the table was such a nice, personal touch. You can tell this team truly cares. DOME EXPERIENCE: The dome itself is SO cute. The setup is beautifully done — from the decor to the table settings, everything feels elevated and intentional. We loved that there was a Bluetooth speaker so we could play our own music. The only thing to note is that it can get quite warm in the dome on sunny days — a fan would help, and Wade mentioned they’re aware of that. Minor detail in an otherwise perfect experience! VALUE: For everything included, we found the pricing incredibly reasonable (around $65/person). Given the quality of food, level of service, and the overall experience, it was well worth it. The booking also included access to explore the Muttart Conservatory, which made the day even more special. We would absolutely do this again and can’t recommend it enough — such a thoughtful, memorable experience. Thank you again to the entire team for making it a mothers day we won't forget!
Stopped in to the Muttart first time today. Got lunch there at the cafe. Service was very friendly and service was excellent. Food was awesome! There was so many things to try which made decision making difficult as we wanted to try it all. The smells are good too that come from the cafe! We will be back to try some other menu items!
The Lemon ice tea was very flavourful and they had a great variety of desserts. They made me an apple iced tea which was also great as they had a great variety of teas that can be made iced.
