This has become my favorite restaurant in Edmonton. Between the two of us, we ordered two bowls, two drinks and couldn’t resist to order the squash mac and cheese (with added gouda). For the breakfast bowl: the roasted potatoes and brussels sprouts were amazing. I’m guessing there was a little cumin in the roasted potatoes, which gave a great kick in taste. And the vegetarian mustard sauce and sour cream were amazing!! Lighter version than the usual sour cream. For the Falafel bowl, super light, and this bowl has all the balanced macro ingredients I love in one. Again the lemon garlic tahini sauce did the magic! The stay gold only boy mac and cheese was great! Definitely healthier than the traditional mac and cheese. It goes super well with the bites from the bowls as well. I am a meat lover, but also focus on having a balanced diet, and Cafe Mosaic makes me love vegetarian dishes more! I will definitely come back every time I visit Edmonton.
I stopped by to check out Cafe Mosaic which was familiar to me from back in the day and it has a new vibe and new owners I was informed! I chose to have matcha and sit out and enjoy the afternoon!! I checked out the menu and will return to dine!!
Heaven for vegans and vegetarians! I just love the atmosphere. It's cozy, ambient and a great place to wind down after a long day. Their nachos is a must try.
Like a hug on a cold day. Packed with flavour and lots of options for food and beverages. Parking can be difficult, but you can find it if you look. Everything is vegetarian, most things can be made vegan, and lots of gluten free options.
Cafe Mosaics is a decent spot if you want to switch things up around Whyte Ave. The space has a cozy and laid back feel, though the design does feel a bit dated. The big windows help bring in good natural light, so it is still a comfortable place to sit and relax for a while. Service is okay and the overall experience is pretty straightforward. The food is good and the brunch options stood out the most for me. Coffee is average, nothing bad but nothing especially memorable either. It is the kind of place you go when you want something easy and low key without big crowds. Overall, it is worth a try if you have already been to most of the cafes in the area and want a calm, relaxed spot to spend some time.
