Green Island Tea & Coffee

I have suffered from severe menstrual pain and sleep problems for over 10 years. I relied on painkillers n sleeping pills for over 10 years, my doctor had to increase the dosage every half year. I do feel like the side effects were significant and not good for my liver etc. I don’t like tea, but somehow i listen to my friend who are regular customer to this tea shop. I met a lady named May. She patiently listened to all my concerns, carefully observed my tongue, and I could see how experienced she was, working skillfully with her hands as she prepared the tea. After a few months, my menstrual pain completely disappeared. I’ve been drinking her specially formulated House 101 herbal tea, and now I no longer need sleeping pills. This change has truly amazed me. I bring my mom to see her.At the time, she was coughing very badly. When she saw her, she immediately offered my mom a cup of tea, and her cough improved 80% in half hour! She helped treat my mom’s indigestion and acid reflux, they all gone. Now all whole familes all to see her, What an amazing lady. She is truly our families natural HEAlER Thank you so much, May!!

I went to Green Island Tea & Coffee today and absolutely loved the shop! They have such a beautiful collection of teapots and a huge variety of teas to choose from. The service was incredibly friendly as well. I believe her name was Felicity, and she was extraordinarily helpful and kind. She took the time to show me different teapots and introduced me to a wonderful one with a really cool swivel mechanism. Such a unique and charming shop with great products and genuinely wonderful service. I’ll absolutely be going back.

Very friendly service. I have tried the matcha from Costco and japan snd other places. The quality here is the best. Best matchs in edmonton. Their coffee is excellent quality and price. I will visit again as I have found my new go-to place in Edmonton.

It’s always an amazing experience visiting Green Island because of May. She is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and informative and always knows the perfect tea! There are so many teas for different uses and the store is very organized. Definitely check it out!

May The Lady who works here is such a Great Help. She has showed me how to brew my very delicate tea's correctly on more than one occassion.After a trip to Tea Estate's in in the Himalaya's . May Helped me get the most Benefit and Flavor from my tea. I value her knowledge greatly. She taught me how to distinguish different types of Matcha and White tea's where May's knowledge has brought out the best in my tea.I have been coming here for over 15 years and will continue.
