⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Honestly deserves 15/5!) We stopped by Kind Ice Cream in the Ritchie neighbourhood and had the absolute best experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome — genuinely kind, attentive, and caring. It honestly felt more like catching up with old friends than just going out for ice cream. They happily let us try a few samples before deciding, which made the experience even more fun, and they had great gluten-free options too! The ice cream itself was incredible — fresh, rich, and honestly some of the most delicious flavours we’ve had in a long time. The shop also has super cute merch and a cozy space where you can sit and enjoy your treats. Every detail about this place feels thoughtful and warm. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Can’t wait to go back!
Busy little ice cream shop in the Ritchie neighbourhood. Good ice cream and friendly service. However, I would have preferred if they had the ice cream display coolers where you can actually see what the ice cream looks like.
One of my all-time favorite local ice cream shops! 🍦 I love so many of their flavors, but my absolute favorites are coffee and salted caramel — they’re rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Definitely a go-to spot whenever I’m craving something sweet!
Loved their “always” flavoured ice cream. The “rotating” ones are usually in season. Got their River Valley Road flavour which is essentially like the Chocolate Milk but with marshmallows and other toppings. Great texture and got it with their waffle cones. The service was amazing - can’t complain. The ambiance was also amazing - the whole place smelled like waffles.
I’m in the process of moving to Ritchie from the states…for 8 months I’ve been seeing lineups, no matter what time of year… Today I had someone tell me that I HAD to try the cookies and cream… Now…I still don’t understand the lineups… I would rather go to Safeway and buy a thing of Hagen dazs…better tasting and cheaper… Maybe I got spoiled with ColdStone but this isn’t worth the line or more than 3 stars.
