A friend and I spent the afternoon here just for something fun to do. We had a great time. The decor had a whimsical Alice and Wonderland feel to it with its mismatched china and clocks around the room. The food was delicious and reasonably priced with lots of different options to taste test. There were many types of interesting teas available as well. The staff was very friendly and checked on us frequently to make sure we were happy with our experience. There were lots of events happening there too including birthdays, baby showers and I thought a bridal shower would also be nice there. It’s fun to dress up every now and again and enjoy something different. Would definitely recommend.
Had brunch recently on a Sunday at Lady Bea’s Not knowing what to expect I was with a few gentlemen and were definitely outnumbered By the amount of ladies and younger girls. They were all dressed up, it was very sweet and really cute to see in Edmonton. There were a Few couples, you could tell that girls dragged their boyfriends in, however Everyone was having a great time. The food was nice, finger food. Everything was tasty. I had the savory, it was filling. I also had a pot of their favourite tea with cream. I enjoyed the ambiance and Decor. The staff was great Knowledgableand the owner came over and introduced herself. She was lovely. The place was very busy on a Sunday, I was told to try it out during the week. I will be back.
Was here for a ladies' birthday tea for a party of 3 :) So glad that afternoon tea is staying strong, a couple other familiar places have disappeared over the years. Delicious options and sometimes for the seasonal events (eg. Mother's Day) there are extra little gifts to take home. For those with mobility concerns, there is accessible parking out front, a very wide ramp to the entrance, and a bathroom on the main floor.
We love a special visit to Lady Bea's for Afternoon Tea. Their menu changes seasonally and it is nice to sample new goodies. The ambiance is delightful and staff is kind! The two times I have been, it has been very busy so we didn't see the waiter as much as we would like (water top ups, hot water for tea), but that's ok - it's tough when you've got a lot of tables to manage! From the two times I have been, I think I prefer the sweet menu and so would probably opt for the sweetheart tea the next time I go. ❤️
We went for the high tea brunch. Everything is very expensive for what you get but you are paying for the experience which I think was worth it. Very beautiful Victorian house converted into a fancy tea house. Food was all very tasty, tea choices were outstanding and my daughter lived it, she is 3 and it is a very nice family experience.
