It's ok here. Their curry soup was more spicy than tasty unfortunately. I had to ask for more dressing for the Cesar salad cause lettuce was watery so dressing didn't stick to it. My dad thought his sandwich (beef dip) was pretty good but he saw it in a tik Tok video and in the video it was way thicker fuller with beef than what he got. So it was all ok. Cute place on a busy road.
First time here. Cool little cafe. I had the grilled salmon burger and a brown of clam chowder. Food was good, but I'm not sure I loved it. Services was great.
I have always loved coming to this cafe. Back in my uni days, I’d have a sandwich and study. Now, it’s a place I always make time to stop at when I’m in the neighbourhood. They serve the most amazing bread! It doesn’t have most yummy yet unhealthy ingredients, so you’d think it would be gross, but gosh, it’s so good! Especially toasted in their grilled ham and cheese! They have a chai latte that no one else beats! I hope they stay around forever and encourage all locals to take the time to support this small business.
The server was great. It was a bit busy so he acknowledged us and he got to us ASAP. He and other servers checked in on us which was nice. I had the daily special which was pork tacos and I forget what the soup was called. Some sort of a Thai spicy coconut soup. It was very tasty, not too salty. It wasn't as hot as my liking though, but the flavour kinda made up for it. I expected 3 small tacos but I got 4 decent sized ones so the portion was good, lots of pork. For lighter eaters, it probably would feed two. Included was a side dish of tortilla chips and salsa. Overall a very nice visit. It's not close to where I live but I wouldn't hesitate to come back if someone said to go there to meet.
I’ve been coming to Mill Creek Café for years with my family, and they’ve never let us down. It’s not a fancy spot, but it’s one of those cozy, consistently good local gems that just feels right. Their homemade bread is out of this world, seriously, you’ll want to take a loaf home. The Reuben is one of the best in the city (perfect balance of tangy, cheesy, and toasty), and the beef dip with that flavorful au jus is another favorite. Tucked close to the ravine, it’s a great little place to grab a hearty sandwich, relax, and feel like you’re part of the neighborhood. Always friendly service, always good food.
