Reinette Café & Patisserie

This small establishment packs a lot of goodies and seating inside. The Reinette Latte and White Mocha were nice, not bitter or sweet. The staff delivered to the table even though it was quite busy and the tables were cleaned quickly upon vacancy for the next patrons to sit. The macarons were chewy with a lovely initial snap of the outer shell. Lovely place for a couple friends to meet for coffee - the baby’s car seat was a bit large to wield around in the tight space but the lovely ladies at the next table were luckily, very understanding. I would love to come here again without the baby in tow.

I always order the Reinette latte. Very good, well balanced. The canelles are my favourite. They offer afternoon teas, which I have not tried but I am looking forward to doing so.

Delicious!!!! The French pastries here are 11/10! Definitely check this spot out. We loved trying a handful of things, and the coffees were tasty, too!

I’m always down for food. Thrilled to finally try Reinette Cafe at Millwood — the space is small, but the food was surprisingly satisfying. We ordered the afternoon tea set ($40), which came with two sandwiches, two drinks, and a selection of desserts — as you can see in the photo! Honestly, if you just add one more drink, it’s perfect for three people. The matcha had just the right amount of sweetness, and the baked pastries weren’t overly sweet either — just how I like them. My top pick? Definitely the mini rose green tea macaron — delicate, floral, and super satisfying. Overall, we really enjoyed the afternoon tea set and will definitely be back to try more next time. 🍵🧁

Reinette is a hidden gem in this city - tucked in a mill woods strip mall it’s very unpretentious and simple. That said the atmosphere with relaxing background music mirrors the experience. Been coming to see them here and when at WEM, but now they have diversified the menu offering sandwiches all $8 or less (and very good) using their homemade sourdough which is excellent and now for sale separately with real interesting flavours like maple and tomato basil -Will be trying that last one soon. Coffee is excellent and honestly reasonable for the care and quality they put into it - they actually know how to make a cappuccino properly! Today tried their summer double espresso with fresh lemon juice and wow so good and refreshing - well worth it! Finally while not one for fancy pastries they make them here with trained skill and so much more reasonable price than other places offering similar quality, of which there are few here in Edmonton. If you haven’t gone make the trip - well worth it!
