It was our first time visiting Tea Spot and it's tucked away in a small plaza on the second floor. We got their House Milk Tea with 0% sugar and less ice. The employee helping us was so kind and provided input when we asked her about how sweet their drinks are. They batch make the house milk tea so it's already sweetened, therefore 0% sugar was the right amount for us. It has a decent milk tea flavour but the tea taste could be stronger in our opinion. Their tapioca pearls are perfect, it's chewy and ever so slightly sweet which we loved. We also got the Jasmine Milk tea with 25% sugar and less ice. The employee told us this drink is not sweetened like the house milk tea which I appreciated. The milk tea flavour itself was not my favourite, it tasted quite watered down if anything. When I got home the drink was already separating as you can see in the photo which was off-putting. I definitely wouldn't order this again to be honest. While the drinks we ordered were just so-so, perhaps we didn't order the right drinks at this spot?? We might return to try their smoothies or fruit teas next time. We did enjoy their pearls though and customer service is great.
I had a really great experience at Tea Spot. The atmosphere is cozy and unique, with fun decorations that make it a cool place to hang out. The drinks are delicious and have lots of flavour, and the tapioca is perfectly chewy. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome right away. It’s a bit of a hidden gem, but definitely worth checking out if you like bubble tea. I’ll for sure be coming back!
Honestly the best place in the city to hang out, bubble tea to drink (highly recommend the Blended Vietnamese Mocha), with the most kindest and thoughtful owners you could ever come across. They make a solid effort to remember their customers and ensuring they have the the most memorable experience during their hosted events for the local community.
Incredibly kind owners and a fun, great environment! (Pricing is great too!!) We're visiting from another province and Tea Spot was one of my favorite card shop/boba shop out of our entire trip. I would definitely go back. Highly suggest!
No paper straws, great ambiance, however the milk tea tastes a but like chocolate milk.
