Prairie Catering

Had such a great experience with this caterer! Hired them for an anniversary party with a large tapas-style spread, and we got so many compliments on the food! People loved the spice on the meat skewers and the variety of dishes we were able to have. Prairie catering was easy to work with, so accommodating, kind, and helpful, and easily adapted the menu to include those with dietary restrictions. Definitely a recommend from us.

We had Spanish tapas and it was delicious and super pretty. The platters were works of art. Had catering and bar service, the staff and bartender were very chill and helpful. Met with chef Dani prior to the event and she was accommodating with requests and made some thoughtful and wonderful suggestions that we hadn't considered. Same as a few others here, the communication with our coordinator took a bit of extra effort, but the company has sorted out it out for my event. And let me tell say, when it came down to it, Prairie delivered an off-the-hook meal and service. Wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

My husband and I used them for our wedding this June. Right from the start Jimmy was communicative and knowledgeable, he always responded to my emails within 2 business days with answers to my questions and suggestions. We had so much fun at the tasting and they truly treated us like honoured guests. On our wedding day they were punctual and professional, truly the most reliable out of all the vendors we had booked. The food is excellent, the menu is easily customizable, and Jimmy and his team were a joy to work with. Thank you!!

Would not recommend this Caterer to anyone. We were at a family wedding this past weekend - was a Black Tie wedding but definitely not black tie event food. Salads were good but rest of meal was like low end street food. And quite an odd array of dishes. Make your own taco not exactly what I would call black tie meal and quality of food was crap - over cooked fajita beef and veggies, grated cheese and salsa. Smashed potatoes and mushroom sauce covered chicken thighs - was told it was supposed to be masala chicken - NOT even close. And a lasagna that looked and tasted like store bought Stauffers. A good catering company would have suggested a more black tie menu for a black tie wedding. The food wasn't even good enough for a school cafeteria menu. And another issue was dinner was late as Caterer not there on time and still setting up after guests had arrived. Forgot water service at our table - had to ask them four times before going and getting it ourselves. Would never recommend them to anyone. Worst meal I have ever tried to eat.
