I bought a small clay handi with a lid for $35, and it was a complete disappointment. As soon as I poured food into it, the color from the handi started leaching into the food, which is extremely concerning for something meant to be food-safe. The handi itself also began to change color, and the surface started coming off, as if it wasn’t properly finished or treated. The quality was clearly poor and not safe for use. I tried to return it twice. The first time, nothing was resolved. I went again today, hoping they would take responsibility, but once again, no refund, no exchange, and more wasted time and money. Out of frustration, I left the handi there. I had no reason to take home a defective item I couldn’t use. I’m now out $35 and hours of my time. The customer service was terrible, and the owner was dismissive (acting like my concerns didn’t matter). The product quality was even worse. I won’t be shopping here again and strongly recommend others be cautious, especially when buying cookware.
