Freson Bros. Fresh Market Rabbit Hill

Freson Bros is a really nice grocery store with a great overall atmosphere. I especially enjoy shopping here when their meat goes on sale, the quality is excellent and the deals can be worth it. The store is clean, well organized, and feels a bit more upscale than many other grocery stores. That said, it’s definitely on the pricier side, so it’s not an everyday grocery stop if you’re watching how much you spend. It’s a great place for quality items and occasional splurges.

A large market with a variety of goods. The prices are a little too high, but you can look for something exclusive for a good price. I really liked the islands that were stylized for different seasons. There is also a place where you can just sit and eat, as well as buy ready-made takeaway food. Of a small minus, we bought a sweet Milk waffle and it tasted like old fat, I think it had been on the shelf for a very long time (my fault I didn’t check the expiration date)

I shopped here for the first time this evening; it was their huge Alberta flag that caught my attention. I was very impressed with the quality and selection of produce, meats and home goods. It is a lovely market. I like how they are open until 11pm every night. I was unimpressed with the fact that they do not pack your groceries. I don’t expect much from anyone, however, with the calibre of market this is I would expect such service. I shop at L’OCA Quality Market quite a bit and they pack your groceries. That was a huge disappointment for me. I definitely would have given five stars if they packed my groceries. Give the buying customer the whole experience that fits your market. When people are spending more money on items they can get cheaper else where, you need to set yourself aside from those cheaper stores by making the paying customer feel good about spending their money at your establishment. A way to do that would be to pack their items at check out. Best regards from a house wife and a stay at home mom.
