A great store. Big variety of Japanese and Korean products. It’s clean, and the vibe is always great.

I was disappointed with my experience at BBQ Chicken in H Mart (U of A). I ordered fried chicken and politely asked the cook for a spoon. Instead of handing it to me or responding, he threw the spoon on the counter in front of me and walked away without saying a word. It felt disrespectful and unprofessional. I understand that working in the food service industry can be stressful and exhausting. However, customers should not be treated poorly because of someone’s frustration or fatigue. Many of us are also tired after a long day, and we come to places like this to enjoy a good meal and unwind. I’m a repeat customer, which made this experience even more disappointing. I hope management addresses this and reminds staff that treating customers with basic courtesy and respect is an important part of good service. A small interaction can leave a lasting impression, and unfortunately, this one did.

H Mart is fantastic! They have an amazing selection with so many mouth-watering choices. The service was great, too—the lady at the counter was so friendly and kind. I highly recommend it!

Awesome asian food store with restaurant inside. Not only are there grocery items but lots of personal and household goods. Fresh produce is available. This is a one stop shop with lots of options for your needs. There is very little parking available so most of the customers walk in.

A great and diverse grocer — an absolute gem in Edmonton for Asian candy, drinks, foods, ramen, and so much more! Some products can be a bit pricey, but overall it’s worth it for the variety.
