He has a good variety of Caribbean snacks. However, the owner’s behaviour is annoying as he’ll ask you, “Is that all you’re going to buy?”. That doesn’t exactly encourage me to buy more, even if you ask me that every time I visit. He sells bad produce too. For example, he sold us a rotten (bad) yam via delivery so we couldn’t use any of it, and he refused to give us any compensation for it. That shows that he doesn’t care as much about his customer satisfaction, if you ask me.

Most items don't have price mentioned. When asked I was questioned why the prices are not mentioned: answers given were - this shop is running since 1972 like this, where are you from, prices keep fluctuating (like any moment, so effectively it is on whims and fancies on owner or some random number generator, like cost and markup is not known to owner). I was questioned about my origin and all. I don't live in Edmonton, but not sure why people tolerate this shop.
