If you love candy, snacks, and hard-to-find treats, Val-Mart Foods Inc. is an absolute gem. This place is packed wall-to-wall with selection. The candy aisle alone is incredible. Huge variety of Haribo, gummies, retro candy, international sweets, bulk options, and novelty items you do not see in regular grocery stores. The marshmallow fluff selection brought back childhood memories instantly. Beyond candy, the drink selection is just as impressive. Tons of pop flavours, energy drinks, and imports you cannot easily find elsewhere. Everything is neatly organized, clearly priced, and easy to browse, which is impressive given how much product they carry. Prices are fair for specialty items, and the store has that old-school specialty shop feel that makes you want to keep walking the aisles to see what you might have missed. Staff are friendly, the store is clean, and it is clear they take pride in offering unique products. Whether you are stocking up for a movie night, looking for something nostalgic, or just want treats you cannot find anywhere else, this place is 100% worth the stop. I will definitely be back.

This place has an INSANE amount of variety. Pops and candy that will unlock childhood memories and also more that you didn't even know existed. Came here late at night thinking it was Walmart LOL ended up being one of the best mistakes I've made. Check it out!!

Shopping here was an excellent experience. It is an amazing variety of items both local and imported you’d be hard-pressed to find anything to make a complete meal, but they have a lot of things to snack on and enhance the other dishes you’re making plus their selection of random assorted pops is excellent

Love their selection of products you can't get elsewhere

A great deal of variety for such a small space. Items from Europe as well as the Maritimes, along with items sold in most stores. Some of the prices are fabulous, while others are comparable to other stores that sell similar. The staff was very warm, friendly and helpful.
