Although we are new patients to this clinic, I can say that the vibe here is what I’d expect anywhere. The ladies at the front are kind and inviting, very friendly. Our first appointment my kids and I each in separate spaces but all of us had a positive experience. They let me get up and make sure my kids were doing okay. All three of the hygienists were phenomenal. Kind, explained things clearly and with positivity. They were excellent with young kids, and with me. My hygienist was gentle and thorough, and listened to me about feeling nauseous with fluoride. Had some great conversation and gave great tips to try to get my whole family flossing more without it feeling judgemental. They really are caring and polite with how they address things here. Our one child needed a filling and an extraction or root canal, and the dentist offered her advice - which I agreed with on going the extraction route. A month later we came to do that extraction and filling. A scary thing for a young kid, but Dr. Aube was incredible. I cannot say enough good things about her from just this one visit. She listened, she made it as fun as possible, made it seem like they were playing a game to get rid of the sugar bugs with the help of Mario and his friends. My child didn’t even know that their tooth was pulled, until it was shown. Incredible! The dentist and hygienist did everything they could to make my kid feel comfortable and did it as quickly and painless as possible. Dr Aube reminded me that there would be a visit from the tooth fairy - which I almost forgot! Appreciate that as well. We left with our aftercare instructions and no feeling of anxious or scared. It was a success, and although I hope this is the only time it happens, I’d feel more than comfortable knowing my children are in kind and caring hands of Dr Aube and the hygienists at Aspen Trails. Thank you Dr. Aube!

I was in June 29/26 for my scaling. I had the best hygienist I ever had. Her name was Karen. I always have fear when I go to the dentist. The whole procedure was painless. First time ever. I will be asking to have Karen do all my appointments going forward. Thanks for being so gentle.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt I had to because I’m so happy with my experience at this dental office (I’ve been to four over the years as a military spouse). From the moment I walked in, the staff were kind and professional. Amanda and Emily were especially helpful and took the time to clearly explain my insurance coverage. Candace was very welcoming and knowledgeable, walking me through each step and explaining the equipment, which really put me at ease. My hygienist, Heba, was friendly and very thorough without being overwhelming, and she made sure I was comfortable the entire time (I even had a massage chair on!). I also really appreciated Dr. Nelson asking if I was happy with how my teeth looked—no dentist has ever asked me that before. I could tell they were all busy, and even so, they worked really well together and made each transition between rooms feel smooth and seamless. The care felt very gentle and patient-focused, which made the whole visit completely stress-free. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and runs smoothly. This is easily the best dental experience I’ve had and I look forward to my next appointment!

My initial interaction with Aspen Trails Dental was with online booking. Caro was fantastic. Then I met the front desk gals and they were wonderful. My first appointment was for cleaning, X-rays and an exam. Cindy cleaned my teeth and was deeply compassionate and refreshingly honest. I also appreciated her thoroughness and efficiency. I was immediately impressed by Dr. Russell Bennett’s calm demeanor and approachable personality. I had significantly damaged teeth as well as a bad TMJ problem. We matter of fact discussed various treatment options. He comprehensively addressed all my concerns and patiently answered all my questions. (I was happy to learn that he doesn’t suggest unnecessary dental work just so he can make more money.) We mutually agreed upon a treatment plan. Amanda was then very efficient in dealing with those details. Due to their state-of-the-art technology (same day crowns), I was able to have six dental crowns during one appointment. Dr. Bennett’s perfectionistic precision and experienced skill was GREATLY appreciated. Hannah (Dental Assistant) was also determined to have my teeth look “perfect” and worked hard to achieve that goal. Katie (Dental Assistant) was involved as well and all of their genuine caring and lighthearted humour made the experience quite fun. I was delighted that the dental chair had a massaging feature since it was a five hour procedure. It was like having a spa treatment, looking out the large window at the beauty of nature with the sun shining in. The entire team at this office made everything seem so smooth and easy. They all do their jobs so well! (Very professional yet very personable.) The atmosphere in the office is reassuring. You can feel the teamwork and cohesiveness amongst the staff. I’m impressed with the level of kindness they all have. This office has exceeded my expectations. I’ve been to numerous dentists over many decades and this office wins FIRST PLACE! I would give Aspen Trails Dental “6” stars! EXCEPTIONAL!

The staff at Aspen Trails Dentist in Sherwood Park is very friendly and efficient. A special mention goes to Rachel D who is not only an excellent hygienist but she goes above and beyond her skills. Besides being knowledgeable, she is personable and kind. Going to the dentist can be a stressful visit but Rachel D makes my experience very enjoyable.
