I have shared orthodontic patients with Dr Karen Marcos now for over a decade! I can say that she is one of the most experienced dentists I know. I saw this first hand during our many 3rd world dental volunteer trips as she would effortlessly treat patients In the middle of the Amazon jungle for many hours straight without slowing down. That is dedication to your craft of which I believe it’s now about 30 years and counting for her in the dental field. With an easy demeanour and warm smile, the patients we share have nothing but great things to say when I ask them how Dr Karen is doing. Being a huge Oilers fan in her own right, it’s no wonder we get along so well! I also wanted to acknowledge her stellar team starting with one of the pillars of the clinic: Helen. She has over 40 years of clinical experience and now is the warm and friendly voice that greets you as you come into the clinic. She knows all the patients without looking at the chart is the epitome of what a Dental professional should be! Keep it up, Helen. Their hygienist Geoff Stewart has taken care of my oral health for years. Every visit to see him is like seeing an old friend. As an aside we also play in a rock band together which helps as we don’t always have to chat about teeth! You can catch us both playing at RigHand Distillery some Sunday’s during brunch:). He is man of many talents and I’m happy to call him my colleague and friend. Their current hygienists Rina, Amber and Joanne are great. They are gentle, personable and do one heck of a cleaning. They will put you at ease and make you feel at home. Located in Leduc for 3 decades, if you live in the area this office is a hidden jem. Had two wisdom teeth removed. Very professional, caring, informative, and friendly during a seemingly daunting operation. Dr. Marcos worked really hard to provide safe, effective, and pain-free care. Some dentists neglect explanation preferring to resort to poor tactics such as fear mongering. Also, during extended operations some dentists discuss life drama with their assistant despite the patient not having the ability to chime in. I appreciate that Dr. Marcos does not seem to resort to the aforementioned tactic and during the operation she was focused wholly at the task at hand. I am so thankful for the hard work that Dr. Marcos did today. Her amiable vocabulary reminded me of my goal as a piano instructor to hold positive attitude and student well-being as top priority while keeping all else second.

Dr. Marcos and her staff were very pleasant and she is masterful with her work. It was the best dentist experience I had since 1990.Great, honest and quality work. She will be my dentist for life I hope.
