Honestly if I could give an extra star, I would. I've been going to this place since I was a baby. All the dentists are very skilled, I do have a preference, but they are all good. The dental hygienists are very thorough and each provides something unique to the experience but the outcome is the same. You can tell them if you want gentle or more the rough. They will accommodate you and go the extra kilometer to make you feel comfortable. They might not have all the fancy extras like massaging chairs but at the end of the day, its a dental office not a spa. If you are looking for the best dental care team with expert advice you can trust (without all the pushy upsells to things you don't need) 100% go here. There's a reason I'm a lifelong customer.

What a wonderful experience. They were patient, and caring during my root canal. Made sure that I was totally numb before starting, and throughout the process took time to clean and go slowly while removing the damaged roots. A day later I felt no pain, and even now it’s been only 3 days and I’m able to eat normally with no problems, and no food finding its way into any cavity. Can’t wait to return to have the crown put in place. Thank you

My mother came to Southwood Dental to get a dental problem treated by Jayati Brahmbhatt, trusting that she would resolve any issues properly. Instead, the issue was not fixed correctly, and my mother is now dealing with more pain and additional complications than before her visit, the exact opposite of what should happen after a dental procedure. It's been two weeks now, and the pain hasn't even gone down 10%. To make matters worse, during her treatment, the topical spray used to numb pain was supposed to go in her mouth, and it ended up sprayed up her nose instead. Causing major headaches and migranes which cause sleep loss and pain. This isn't a minor slip, this kind of anesthetic isn't meant to be administered that way, and it's the sort of mistake that raises real questions about the attention and care being given to patients here. Between the incomplete/failed treatment and this mishap, we left with less trust in this practice than we came in with, and my mother is now having to deal with the consequences. I wouldn't recommend Southwood Dental to anyone, especially if you or a loved one need careful, attentive dental care.
