Emily is an amazing photographer! This was me and my boyfriend's first time doing a photoshoot so we felt a bit awkward, especially since we were out in public. BUT Emily made it super comfortable for us and encouraged us to try out different poses. She is also super talented in photography and editing. The photos turned out so well and made a gloomy day in NYC super dreamy and straight out of a movie!!!

Would like to highly recommend Emily Welz! She takes such pride in her work and is very passionate! She did a professional headshot portrait for me. If you or anyone you know needs any kind of portrait she’s your photographer! I’m sure we’ll be hearing about her photographing one day at the NY/Milan fashion shows. Make sure you book her while you still can!

Emily is a wonderful, professional, and overall awesome human! She was extremely accommodating with unexpected schedule changes and made me feel so welcome in her studio. Not once did I feel discouraged from anything, I was always open to share my thoughts and work together with her to create the best photos of myself that I have ever had done. Emily took any references and ideas I gave her and she utilized them beautifully. She was very responsive and polite in our correspondence and she always got back to me quickly. Prices were very reasonable and Emily was very informative of any questions I had. Perhaps best of all was that Emily made me feel confident in my skin. I would highly, highly recommend Art of Headshots and Emily any day, any time!

I went to this acting headshot place really excited to get new and professional headshots taken. The first time I went in, I later received my pictures and was not impressed. They didn’t look very professional and they didn’t look like the headshots on there website. I emailed them for re takes and they didn’t respond until I made a bad review about them on google. When I finally got in again to get new headshots, I wasn’t very satisfied again. For the second shoot I just took what was somewhat the “best ones” out of the selection and prayed that the editing would make them look more professional and I guess having those were better than nothing. From what I received compared to what I saw on their website, I’m very disappointed. No hate to the photographer or anything, she was extremely nice, but I thought with the expensive and professional pictures and tools they have, the photos would’ve looked better. For the price of the headshots, they should’ve looked better and more professional. For the first time going in for acting headshots I thought I’d be able to get more guidance from the photographer but it seemed like I was teaching her more about it than she knew. I think you could save some money and go somewhere cheaper for better.

Emily Weltz is a great photographer. She is professional, easy to work with and has a very strong creative eye - I loved the photos I did with her and I would highly recommend her to anyone. I will definitely go back to her when it is time to update my photos! Thanks again Emily!
