Matt’s Roofing Ltd.

We decided to replace our roof last month and came across Matt Roof Roofing after seeing them work on a neighbour’s home a few houses down from us. Being able to watch their workmanship firsthand gave us a lot of confidence before even reaching out. When Matt came by to quote our project - including new shingles and a VELUX skylight replacement - he was professional, knowledgeable, and very transparent throughout the process. He took the time to explain the condition of our roof, asked the right questions about what we wanted, and walked us through the different skylight models available. Once we made our decision, the quote was very fair and spot on. I had already researched pricing myself through places like Home Depot Canada, and I appreciated how honest Matt was about both material costs and labour. Yesterday, Phil and his crew completed the installation, and they were outstanding. Watching them move around the roof and work so efficiently was honestly impressive. Matt also recommended adding cap shingles/tiles to improve both the look and protection of the roof, and it absolutely made a difference. The finished result looks fantastic. We’ve already had people stop by the house asking who did the work so they could get Matt’s number. That alone says a lot. Highly recommend Matt Roof Roofing to anyone looking for quality workmanship, honesty, and professionalism

I cannot recommend Matt’s Roofing enough! We recently discovered that the homebuilder had made a major mistake by not venting our dryer properly causing moisture leaks in our attic, and causing our new dryer to display a code. After calling Matt, he came to view the problem within hours and fixed it the next day! Matt’s communication was excellent. He was incredibly responsive and answered all my questions clearly. I am writing this review so others can feel confident choosing Matt to address their roofing needs. Thank you very much! Notes: The first two photos show my dryer vent and where it was supposed to vent, and the second two photos show Matts fix of replacing the rotten roof panel, cutting a hole, installing a gooseneck, & replacing the shingles.

I thought we needed to replace everything with our roof, eavestroughs, soffits, shingles, the whole nine yards. I contacted 3 different roofing companies and Matts was one of them. He came by and looked at our roof and with his expertise informed me that I just needed my roof replaced (shingles and a few extra air vents) and the others issues I was having would go away (which they did go away once the roof was replaced). He didn't try to upsell me and was very honest about what I needed and what the problem was. He was very informed and knowledgeable in what needed to be done. His crew was quick, polite and efficient, did it all in one day, and they did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. Matt answered all my questions and any concerns I had. Matt and his crew were friendly and professional. I would recommend Matts Roofing to friends and neighbors. The roof looks great and our home can breathe nicely again. The price was well within our budget. Thanks Matt and crew.

Had my roof done today. Contacted Matt through his website and was very responsive and got me a fair quote right away. Was easy to communicate with. Always answers his emails quickly. He made the process very easy. The crew that installed my new roof on the house and garage were very hard workers. You could tell they take pride in their work. They were all very polite and respectful. They did an excellent job and cleaned up everything before they left. All this was completed in one day! We are very satisfied with the job and will definately recommend Matt's to anyone that asks.

We recently hired Matt's Roofing LTD to replace both the shingles and gutters on our home, as well as install two sun tunnels, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. One of the things that impressed me most was how quickly Matt responded. He came out promptly to assess the project and provided a detailed quote. Even better, the quote he gave us was exactly what we paid in the end. During the work, the crew discovered some rotten wood that needed to be replaced, but they took care of it without any surprises or unexpected costs. The team also went above and beyond by repairing the connections to both of our bathroom exhaust fans and adding passive roof vents to improve the overall ventilation of our attic. It was clear they weren't just focused on replacing shingles and gutters—they wanted to make sure the entire roofing system was functioning properly. We also had two sun tunnels installed, and we absolutely love them. The amount of natural light they bring into our home is incredible. Areas that used to feel dark now feel bright and welcoming, and it's been one of our favorite improvements from the entire project. The workmanship was excellent, and the crew was professional, efficient, and respectful of our property throughout the project. What really stood out, though, was their commitment to customer satisfaction. After the job was complete, we realized we weren't happy with the location of one of the downspouts. To be fair, it had originally been installed where we had agreed, but after seeing it from another angle in our yard, we felt the placement wasn't ideal. We contacted Matt's team the very next day, and they were back on-site just two days later to move it for us at no extra charge. It's rare to find a contractor who combines quality workmanship, fair pricing, honest communication, and outstanding customer service the way Matt's Roofing LTD does. From the initial quote to the final walkthrough, everything was handled professionally and without surprises. I would highly recommend Matt's Roofing LTD to anyone looking for roofing, gutters, or sun tunnel installation in Edmonton.
