Mindful Moments Child Care

I cannot say enough good things about Mindful Moments. I have trusted them with the care of both my daughters and our experience has been absolutely wonderful. The environment they provide is incredibly well-structured, as it is the perfect balance between learning and fun. The kids are engaged in play that purposefully develops their motor skills, social/emotional, creativity, language and sensory awareness, ensuring they are always learning something new in an interactive and hands-on way. Whether its the creative activities the staff come up with in their room, the educational field trips, or the dance activities they hold in their large gym - I know my child is always having a fun filled day. What truly sets them apart for our family is their commitment to gentle approach and positive reinforcement. In my early search for daycares, I interviewed daycares in Beaumont and several in Edmonton that were rated 5 stars on Google, where I could tell the daycare workers were exhausted, their dietary snacks were not very nutritious, and when asked how they approach conflict I was met with blank faces. At Mindful Moments, they guide the children with such empathy, patience, and understanding. It creates a incredibly safe and nurturing space for them to navigate their big emotions and grow confidently. As a parent, being away from your kids is always tough, but the daily updates we receive through their app offer so much peace of mind. Getting to see pictures and read about their day makes me feel connected to their daily routines. It is obvious just how much heart and genuine care every single daycare worker puts into their job making the drive from Beaumont to Sherwood park worth every second. I highly recommend Mindful Moments to any parent looking for a supportive and loving childcare environment and a special shout out to the Stepping Stones team for all the hard work that you do!

There is nowhere else I would trust with my children. We’ve been part of the Mindful Moments family for a few years now, and it truly does feel like family. Every teacher we’ve encountered has been exceptional, the facility is always clean and well-organized, and the activities are thoughtful, purposeful, and balanced. My kids have made lifelong friends, learned incredible skills, and have thrived. Even during some of life's more challenging stages like learning to use the potty, teething, understanding social norms, etc., the teachers show up with compassion, understanding, and team-work. Our kids love it here, and we love it for them!

We couldn’t be happier with Mindful Moments. The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and truly treat the children like their own. My daughter comes home happy every day and is always excited to go back, which says everything. The environment is clean, safe, and full of fun learning activities. We’ve seen such amazing growth in her confidence and social skills. One of the things we love most is the amazing field trips—they put so much thought into creating fun and memorable experiences for the kids. I’m so grateful for the love and dedication they show every single day!

Mindful Moments has been a great place for our kids! They are always kind, understanding and very dedicated to the child care profession. I would never hesitate to recommend them for child care needs for anybody. The staff has all been outstanding and helpful in helping us work towards goals with our kids. I really can’t say enough good about them.

We have had all three of our boys at Mindful Moments. It has truly been such a gift to have the educators as part of our village. They have treated each of our boys as unique individuals and have learned their needs, likes/dislikes, personalities. Our son often comes home telling stories about 'silly' his teachers are. Our kids have all made great friends at MM, as friendships are fostered through learning about kindness and respect. Open communication with educators, along with lots of cute photos, give us such confidence that our boys are having great days. I wouldn't leave my kids anywhere else after having experienced Mindful Moments!
