Olive Tree Learning Centre

We absolutely love Olive Tree! The menu is truly excellent, they offer healthy, balanced, and varied meals every day, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Unlike many other daycares that only serve Cheerios and milk for breakfast and don’t provide lunch, Olive Tree goes above and beyond to make sure the children eat nutritious, homemade food. The daily activities are creative, fun, and educational, from art and outdoor play to yoga and music classes. The teachers and staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely love what they do. You can really feel that they put their heart into creating a warm and stimulating environment for the kids. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. Olive Tree is an amazing place where children can learn, play, and grow! 🤗

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Olive Tree. My daughter attended for 6 months, and in that short time she absolutely thrived. The staff are warm, patient, and genuinely care about each child. From the very first day, we felt welcomed and supported—drop-offs were smooth, and my daughter would come home excited to tell me about her day. The program is thoughtfully structured with a great balance of learning, creativity, and play. I noticed huge growth in her confidence, social skills, and independence during her time there. She especially loved the crafts, story time, and outdoor play—the teachers always made learning fun and engaging. What really stood out to me is how communicative and attentive the team is. They always took the time to share updates, celebrate milestones, and address any questions I had. As a parent, that peace of mind is priceless. If you’re looking for a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where your child will be loved and supported like family, I can’t recommend Olive Tree enough. We are so grateful for the wonderful start they gave my daughter, and I know any family who joins will feel the same way.

We are very happy with Olive Tree. It is very clean. The staff are friendly and always greet my kid. I have a good feeling everyday about leaving my child in their care. My child also never wants to leave. I get daily pictures and updates and I truly believe this place is enriching my child everyday.

I have two kids at Olive Tree Learning Centre, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience! The staff are truly amazing—you can see how much they love and care for the children. There are always engaging and creative activities that keep my kids excited to go every day. Plus, the food they provide is really good, which gives me peace of mind knowing my kids are well-fed. It’s a wonderful, nurturing environment, and I’m so grateful for the team at Olive Tree! Highly recommend to any parent looking for a loving and enriching childcare center.

I registered my child when it was still under Danielle, who had a very strong reputation. The new owners/ director and transfer were not done well in late June, and that is politely speaking . Then Flor, a new director started in November and worked quickly to re establish Olive Tree as we knew it prior, food, communications and programming (daily learning/fun/outdoor play, yoga, music). She is so friendly and professional. The classroom staff, outdoor play and home made menu are all amazing and I would highly recommend. The daycare is also right next to the huge/new Sherwood Heights playground. This is what sold this location for me, my child definitely prefers active outdoor play over walks. They do LOTS of outdoor play, and even serve the afternoon snack (not winter) outdoors. The parking lot is also never crazy and easy with a full-size pickup truck too, an essential for dad drop offs…lol
