Had brunch at Chartier in Beaumont last Tuesday and it was fantastic! We tried the mussels, French onion soup, and Les Oeufs, and everything was flavorful and well prepared. The French onion soup was rich and comforting, and the mussels were delicious. To drink, We had an iced Americano and a vanilla chai latte—both were excellent. The bakery items looked amazing too, but I was already too full to try any. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit!
Excellent experience! The food was wonderful and, most importantly, not too salty, which I loved. It’s a very comfortable and welcoming spot to enjoy a meal. The staff made us feel right at home. I did find the onion soup a little pricey considering the portion size, but the taste itself was top notch. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu. Highly recommended!
My wife and I have been going here for a long time. We were worried when they said that they were closing due to Covid , but thanks to the community, it thankfully stayed open. We often bring visiting friends and family here so they can enjoy the great food from local farms and breweries. They always have something great one their menus and its also great when the chef and owners come and speak with the different customers. They seem to be really interested in any input they may have on their experience. I have also been here for a few special dates such as mother's day and St. Patrick's day. Latest was father's day where I got to enjoy my 18oz steak cooked just how I like it. I was also surprised when I heard that the pie cart was all you can eat. I enjoyed a piece of each one. Anyone can find something here. Even if you just want a treat, there are donuts, cinnamon buns, pies to name a few plus jams and fresh bread. Can't say enough about this place. Just go and treat yourself to some great food and great staff. P.s. stole my wifes prawns.
Chartier is our favourite brunch spot. The breakfast poutine is amazing, and the restaurant is super cute! My sister held her wedding reception dinner here, and the food was great.
They lure you in with the bakery aroma and finish you off with a menu worthy of the Charlevoix Township in Quebec. The donuts were spectacular but my Duck à l’orange Benedict was simply heaven like. Very friendly staff and surprisingly affordable for the high quality of the food.
Keep exploring
