I don’t normally write reviews, however I had to with this place! My partner and I came in looking for a quick bite to eat, and wanted to try a place we never have before. We keep seeing raves about this place so we figured why not give it a try. We were greeted right off the bat and asked if we had been there before, and the owners son gave us some of his favourites to try. I’m usually a picky eater (yes like chicken fingers and fries over a steak dinner😅) We went in not knowing what the menu was, just seeing that other people love it. I had the lunch special, which was a Mediterranean wrap, with creamy lentil soup. My partner had the chicken shawarma platter. Both items were delicious, the portions sizes were great for the price point. The soup wasn’t chunky it was blended and smooth. The chicken wasn’t dry for either dish, and was super flavourful everything blended so well together. We got a chance to talk to the owner as well, she said she’s been cooking since she was 11 years old, she also stated that she made the menu herself and put things she would eat on there, and she would never serve something she wouldn’t eat herself. I love to hear that!
Tried the shawarma at Savoury Street Eatery and it was really good — fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The owner was also very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. You can tell they care about both the food and their customers. Definitely worth checking out!
Hidden Gem in Fort Sask! Was my first time here and definitely not my last! The calzones were incredible, best one I’ve had. The service was top notch, restaurant is clean, and the food is amazing. 5 stars!!!
I finally stopped in to Savoury Street Eatery after hearing many good things. It happened to be near closing time on Thursday and they were unfortunately out of the calzone special for the night. Nevertheless, I ended up with a very delicious and tasty donair that was packed with nicely spiced donair meat. I even grabbed some mini donair pizzas that were available from their display, which were amazing once reheated in the air fryer the next day. I also got a chance to see these somewhat famous calzones, and I'm not kidding when I say that they can nearly be the size of a serving tray-check out the picture of what they call The Beast! I'll definitely return again in the future. Their portion sizing and pricing is unmatched.
I really liked it. My first time there. Prices are reasonable, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. I would definitely go again. The have different specials daily.
