Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday, which happened to be "Two pastas for $25" day. A good deal considering the pastas average about $22 each normally. My spaghetti with chilli oil and red chillies was server barely warm, however it was still tasty and I ate it all, and packed up the 2md order to go. The server was friendly and helpful when it came to providing option to take into account my no dairy requirement. (Olive oil instead of butter on my garlic toast, no cheese on my pasta) Due to my lunch being served warm to cold I was offered to have it remade, or a discount, or a free dessert. I accepted the discount as I was hungry and didn't want to wait for a remake. Overall a nice light lunch.

Wow! We enjoyed our delish dessert yesterday of nutella pizza and cheesecake with heaps of whip cream! Also the gluten free Mediterranean flat bread with hummus was so good too! Our server served us with a smile and it was a great experience! Also appreciated that it was a quiet ambience.

They're undergoing a renovation. The pizza was different than it used to be. It's more 'slapped' together than prepared. Kids got pasta without sauce that looked like they just rinsed the sauce off (but left some on). There was a small hair in kids pizza as well. All the other food was OK, but they brought food out in a weird order so kids food came last, and they kept running away. Different people kept coming to the table with repeat questions and it was hard to focus on family time with all the staff interruptions. Except right after they brought the food. Then they were nowhere to be found. We got a replacement kids pizza for the hair, but we had to bring it up to the counter ourselves. We asked for a kids cup of water so that we could water down their juice a bit, but that was lost in translation. We had lots of cups of water, lids, straws, but had to watch our adult food get cold while they rinsed the pasta and made another kids pizza. They did waive the costs of the kids meals. However, a place that was once nice to eat at has fallen into the "may consider for take-out, but will check order twice before leaving" category.

I haven't been to famoso in a hot minute, but boy did I miss it. Their bisque is amazing as always (if you haven't had it before and you wanna feel that warm feeling of home, try the bisque). My friend and I had come during happy hour and the options were great! The food is just so good, so to catch them during happy hour is a steal. They offer takeout in all their open locations, dine-in for some. Highly recommend.

What happened to you Famoso?! You use to be so great. We ordered the fettuccine and it was unpalatable. So much salt. Like someone dumped an entire box of salt. Also the pesto sauce was just awful beyond the salt. The pizza was mediocre and could have been cooked longer. Salad was the only good dish.
