This was an alright place. They had 1 server and they seemed very overwhelmed with the number of people coming in. We waited with our menus for a good amount of time before water was provided to us. Food did not come out at the same time, I received my main dish before the appetizers were served. The food was presented well. The beef skewers were the favourite of the table and I wish the sauce on the yakitori chicken was a bit stickier/thicker to hang onto the chicken. I had the Chirashi don and the shrimp was a little off. My partner had the Katsu Don and that seemed pretty good. I wouldn't come here again as it did not meet my expectations for the night. They were having technical difficulties during my visit, so you may have better luck/food than I had.
If you're a ramen fan, this is not the place. I got the tonkotsu base pork ramen. It came with pork, spinach, mushrooms, half an egg and.... carrots? I guess they tried to cut a carrot into some sort of flower pattern? Which immediate broke up once it went into the bowl though. The broth was very light, watery even, the noodles had no firmness to them, and the pork was nothing special. The egg, while slightly overcooked was the best part. Dont get the ramen.
Loved the food here! Everything we ordered tasted great! Only complaint I’d have is that the rolls have a bit too much rice…they are big and filling, but the ratio of rice to filling is little much for my liking. Otherwise, the food was really good, fresh and no fishy aftertaste. Really enjoyed the beef and chicken hot plate and the unique flavour of the New Style Maki roll! The service was fantastic, but the restaurant is small and gets crowded so I recommend reservations. Definitely will be back to try other menu items!
Came here with my wife early Supper, parking can get difficult because it’s on the Main Street. Staff are friendly and helpful. The ramen was delicious. Establishment looks clean.
Stopped for dinner, we got the seafood ramen and various sushi options. Ramen wasn’t my favourite, Sushi was good! My friend got the hot plate with thin beef and I liked that way more. Atmosphere is adorable and service is excellent. Really loved the strawberry boba tea!
