Maina's Donair

Absolutely amazing donair spot! The food is delicious, fresh, and packed with flavour, but what really makes this place stand out is the owner. You can tell Maina genuinely cares about her customers and takes pride in what she does. She is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience. It’s not often you find a place with both amazing food and an amazing owner, and this is definitely one of those spots. You can taste the care that goes into everything.

Maina's Donair is the ABSOLUTELY BEST DONAIR RESTAURANT I have ever experienced! I can't say enough about how fresh, flavorful, and mouth watering the food is. I guarantee you won't be disappointed! Portions are big! My favorite is the donair pizza! Holy cow! Never in my life have I had the freshest made pizza dough. I drive one hour to get her donair pizza, cause its that good! Maina herself is the sweetest gem! The staff are very friendly and the standards are high. Thank you Maina!

I hadn't had a donair until my dad took me here. Since then, I've had more donairs than I can count, but none beat this. Best donair I've ever had by far, and we come by regularly. Excluding the food, everything else is still amazing, most notably the staff. Everytime we've been here, the service is beyond spectacular, and everyone is so kind. Truly and fully, this donair place is fantastic in every regard, and I will certainly be coming back many more times with my dad for some more.

I happened to be in Beaumont and read the reviews for this and it looked good so I popped in. It was close to closing time so I checked to see if the spit was still on and it was so I ordered our food. To my dismay they then proceeded to pull the donair meat out of what I assumed was a warming tray. They put on a generous portion of meat so I thought it might still be okay. But instead of heating the meat on the grill they threw it into a steam tray to warm it up. Still believing the reviews I thought it would still be okay. They bagged it all up and I was on my ready. When I got to the car though I found out that the steam tray hadn't even made it room temperature. So I hope it was sitting in a cooling tray and not just sitting out but I didn't know. It was tasty enough but I am a firm believer in hot safe food. The staff was super friendly though so I hope they take this as constructive criticism and do better next time.

A very friendly and comfortable place. We got our Regular Cheese Donairs to go. They had a good amount of toppings, but I felt the sauce was light. The meat wasn't very seasoned which lowered my rating to 4. Otherwise, a decent meal. It was right downtown so parking was a bit tricky at lunchtime.
