If anyone asks me where to get the best pho in Edmonton, this is probably the one place I hesitate to recommend... simply because I don't want it to become even busier than it already is! To avoid the crowds, I usually visit during the quieter hours – after lunch and before the dinner rush. It's the perfect time to enjoy a bowl of pho in peace. What makes Pho Du stand out? First of all, the prices already include tax, and there's no tipping required, which is becoming increasingly rare these days. More importantly, the portions are incredibly generous, with plenty of quality beef in every bowl. But the real star is the broth. Rich, aromatic, perfectly balanced, and clearly simmered with care for hours. Every spoonful is packed with flavour without being overly salty or greasy. It's the kind of broth that keeps you coming back again and again. I've tried pho at many places across Edmonton over the years, and in my opinion, Pho Du is still the best. Great food, fair pricing, generous portions, and consistently outstanding quality. Hopefully this little secret doesn't become too popular... because I'd still like to be able to grab a bowl without waiting forever!

This location is such a gem if you actually know what the Pho market is around, the prices and what not, this location is insane on the price to value you get here. It's unmatched, you pay $9.85 for a bowl of Pho with no sizes available but the size is very generous and for that price, it's unbelievably good value. The staff is super friendly as it was fully occupied when I walked in at must 11:30 AM! So I ordered and waited for a seat, the lady at the counter especially was super friendly and one of the most pleasant experiences I had, she's understanding and patient and very accommodating and attentive. Some con but totally subjective , I love green onion cakes but they don't have any here, so if you're looking for that, it's not here. Also, I found the noodles are quite thick here and are different than other establishments, I wasn't fond of that but broth is good which all that matters. Amazing place through and through that hands down has the best price to quality ratio, I only docked a star off cause of the atmosphere, it's very busy and most likely you have to wait for a seat, also, it's very loud and the tables are very close to each other. Wonderful establishment.

Pho Du is, without question, one of the best pho places in town. What makes them stand out is not just the food, but the overall value they offer. In a time when prices keep climbing everywhere, it’s refreshing to find a place where the price already includes tax, and tipping never feels pressured or expected. That kind of honesty and transparency is rare, and customers notice it. Of course, none of that would matter if the food wasn’t excellent — but thankfully, it absolutely is. The broth is rich, clean, and full of depth, clearly made with real care rather than shortcuts. It has that comforting, slow-simmered flavor that good pho should have. The noodles are cooked properly, the portions are generous, and the beef is always fresh and tender. For the same budget you’d spend elsewhere, Pho Du simply gives you more — better taste, better portions, and a much better overall dining experience. It feels like a place that respects both the food and the customer. No unnecessary hype, just consistently good pho done right. Honestly, if you’re looking for the best value pho in town, Pho Du is very hard to beat.

If you love pho, you need to try Pho Du! 🫶🏻 I’ve tried a lot of pho spots and I’m always on the hunt for the next best one… but honestly, it’s hard to look anywhere else after coming here. The price is incredibly affordable, and every time I’ve ordered, the soup tastes fresh and consistently good. The combination bowls are packed and look amazing, and the salad rolls are easily some of the best. I also love how simple the experience is: walk in, order at the counter, pay, sit down, eat, and leave feeling completely full and satisfied. No pressure, no awkward tipping moments, just a smooth and easy experience. The staff are always kind, the service is great, and the place is consistently clean. Hands down one of the best spots in town.

We are repeat customers - our boys love the spicy soup! staff: Always friendly. Fast & efficient. service: orders are taken quickly. The part that might take the longest is finding a table - it is first come first serve for table claiming. Good to keep an eye on table movement while you line up to place order. establishment: it is a small space with not many tables. Good parking options outside. food: always fresh and flavourful. Pho is not greasy and great flavour. Great portion sizes. Spring rolls fresh & crispy. Salad rolls fresh and full.
