Pip

Had an amazing experience at Pip for brunch a few weeks back. The service from Kris G. was absolutely top notch — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. You can tell he really cared about creating a great experience for his guests. The food was tremendous. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, with portions that were surprisingly large for the price. The coffee was also fantastic and honestly some of the better brunch coffee I’ve had in a while. The restaurant itself was very clean and tidy, which made the whole atmosphere feel comfortable and inviting. On top of all of that, the pricing was incredibly reasonable. Around $70 for three large meals felt like amazing value considering the quality of the food and service. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to again. Highly recommend checking Pip out if you’re looking for a great brunch place.

Had brunch for the first time at Pip today. We had to wait for a table on a weekday so I knew it was going to be good!!! I ordered the gluten free eggs Benedict and it came on bread instead of English muffin which is fine but not the same experience. The whole family enjoyed the meal and we will definitely be back!

The food was incredible. We had the Short rib eggs benedict and my husband (a true Eggs benedict fan) said these were the best he ever had. I feel the same way, the eggs were perfect, the hollandaise was tasty and the meat was melting in my mouth. We treated ourselves with a Sweet Dutch Baby afterwards and it was the best one ever, not dry, not overly sweet and the mascarpone & fruits were delicious. The service is a tiny bit slow, but nothing major, I would definitely recommend!

My friend and I had breakfast at Pip. It was busy but was able to grab a seat in 5 minutes. Service was great, but not attentive, we had to ask other servers for assistance. My friend ordered a chai drink but was disappointed it came late and cold. She sent it back and waited for the drink that did not come. Our food came and still no Chai. She cancelled the order and opted for water. Our breakfast sandwich and farmers breakfast was however delicious. Big bright flavors and enjoyed the bacon! Yum!

Perfect early-evening dinner at Pip. Arrived ahead of our reservation and had a lovely stroll through the neighbourhood — my ole stomping grounds as I worked at OSYS across from the market 2007-2013 and how the place has changed and the whole place already feels warm and welcoming. Madeline was a standout server at Pip. Harry ordered his usual martini, and when it hit the table looking crisp and elegant and purple in colour, I immediately ordered one too with olives that was as gorgeous as it was delicious. I had sparkling wine and Thursdays after 4 pm to 9 its special prices.. We both went for seafood and every dish was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully done. Kid‑friendly, relaxed, and a real community vibe — plus a great patio for summer nights. The neighbouring table let me take pic of their order and the bitter drink!! Left so satisfied I came home and fell asleep for an hour. Pip is a gem and the history of the building and entrepreneurship to revitalise by these amazing fam of Pip is a huge blessing for #YEG and I highly recommend!!.
