Hhhhhannds Down this is the bestt South Indian restaurant we tried so far in Edmonton with most authentic kerala cuisine. They have really good dosas, vada pavs and their paneer 65 gravy is a must try… The kerala poricha kozhi was fire.. their spices were soo authentic and delicious. The place was super clean and well kept. Thank you for such a great feast.

This is a small, cozy Indian restaurant with good service and a nice atmosphere. The food was very good overall and definitely the highlight of our visit. The chai tea, however, was quite small in size and served in a paper cup even for dine-in, which took away from the experience. I likely wouldn’t order it again. The main issue was the waiting time, we had to wait over an hour before some of our food arrived. It seemed like they might be understaffed, but since the food was very good, it didn’t completely ruin the experience. One suggestion would be to avoid using plastic cups and plates for dine-in. It would be more environmentally friendly and would also improve the overall dining experience.

delicious food, friendly service, and large portions! We got: Porotta and Beef Curry Kappa and Mutton Curry Masala Dosa Idli Falooda Prices are inexpensive and between the three of us, our meal was $20-30. My favourite was the Porotta and Beef Curry, but i would get all of the dishes again and also be happy to try something new from here :) Super cute + cozy ambience, and great comfort food :-)

We came from Saskatoon and tried this place and it was definitely worth it. We had the Poricha Kozhi with Poratta , omlette and curry. We also tried their Kappa with beef platter. Both were really good and 100% recommended. And shoutout for the amazing service.

I had an amazing experience at The Great Indian Delicacy! The food was absolutely delicious—rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and clearly made with care. Every dish tasted fresh and authentic, making it one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in a while. The service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the visit.
