I'm doing another review of the T-Rex 🦖🦖🦖 pizza. First off, the dough was properly cooked and not mushy on this thick zaa, the dough tastes great like fresh dough and not frozen. Second, the sauce, pizza sauce is 10/10 legendary good and tasty, some of the best I've ever had. Now the meat and cheese did not overly impress me on this pizza, I wouldn't know what to tell you other than make your own cheese and raise your own meat animals for the pizza 🍕🍕🍕 place. Overall some people say it's the best in Edmonton currently, in my opinion the pizza is very expensive 🫰 💰💰, very thick and I've had better more flavorful zaa in Surrey BC.
XL T-Rex Pizza 🍕 🦖🥵😋 we first discovered this thing on TikTok and now its a staple for our family trips. 7 of us ate from this Pizza for 2 days and there's still some left🤣 #insane
We called in our order while driving home and stopped by Versato’s Pizza for a quick pickup. We ordered the T-Rex (their meat lovers), and while we waited, those rotating single slices in the warmer kept teasing us—clearly a fan favourite. People kept walking in, grabbing a slice to go, and walking out happy. You could tell they've been here before! When our pizza was ready, we couldn't wait for the drive home so grabbed one of the two small tables they have available and opened the box right there. Wow!!!!Absolutely loaded with toppings, but because the meat is shaved so thin, everything just works together perfectly. Definitely worth traveling from any corner of the city. And honestly… do I wish I lived on the north side just to get this delivered? Absolutely.
Staff were friendly in this tiny strip mall pizza joint! They’ve been here for many years and are a local favourite. They’ve pizzas are loaded and weigh a lot! Dough is thick enough to handle all the toppings, the gravy has just the perfect amount of tang, very generous portion of meat, always the right amount of cheese and the groceries always taste fresh and still have a bit of crunch. My only complaint is how salty it their slices are but that’s because of all the deli meats they add! Overall, always love dropping by for a slice when I’m in the area and want a quick pizza fix!
For the uninitiated, this is glorious, unadulterated Regina style pizza. The Greeks who went to the plains from Moosomin to Moose Jaw created this amazing, filling, pizza. The Versato Special is the same as an all-dressed from Houston Pizza or Western pizza. Of note: the base crust is a lot less greasy than the stuff in Sask (re: it's for the better)
