Gorgeous facility to go for a walk on the trails, lots of benches if you need a rest stop & dog friendly with strategically placed bins in case you need to dispose of any bags or garbage. Fish pond attracts many people as well.
Nice stocked lake for fishing 🎣 and canoeing. When my wife and I were here there were several people fishing 🎣. There is a walking 🚶🏻 trail all the way around the lake. There is washroom facilities available here. There is a dock that you can cast your fishing line from. Just a great spot to enjoy a relaxing stroll 🚶♀️ or some good fishing. There is a lookout deck and benches to rest on.
It's a great place to go fishing in the evening after work. Don't expect any trophy fish though. The perch have taken over the shallows so most of the fish you catch will be under 3". If you can cast far enough out there are trout, mostly under 10" though.
We heard this was a safe, family-friendly fishing spot and it didn’t disappoint! It’s a great place for beginners to try out their rods. Space along the bank is a bit limited with tall bushes, and the piers can get busy, but it’s still an awesome spot for kids to cast and catch. Plenty of trout and perch to keep everyone happy!
Great stocked pond for perch, and if you are lucky, you can get trout. Caught a dozen fish in an hour.
