It's been our annual Christmas tradition since we arrived in Edmonton 10 years ago from South Africa and we always have a wonderful and magical time.

Leduc Country Lights is a wonderful place to visit with kids and the whole family. There are lots of fun activities that keep children entertained, and the festive atmosphere makes it feel special and memorable. It’s a great spot to spend time together and enjoy the holiday spirit. The bonfires are a really great idea, especially on colder evenings. They give everyone a chance to warm up, relax, and enjoy the experience a bit longer. The setup is well thought out and adds to the cozy, family-friendly vibe. The only thing that would make it even better is having a small shop or stand offering hot chocolate or other warm drinks. That would be a perfect addition for both kids and adults on chilly nights. Overall, it’s a fun, welcoming place and definitely worth visiting with children.

I recommend visiting with children. It is located near Leduk. Numerous New Year's lights have transformed the park. There are places where you can warm up by the fire and socialise with friends. The walk takes about 40-60 minutes, so dress warmly — it is always colder and windier outside the city. There is a food bank collection point on the premises. Please note that payment is cash only. The money goes towards paying for electricity.

An absolute hidden gem. I was not expecting anything close to what it was. Anywhere from 30-60mins to go through and look at everything. Awesome for the kids and a chance to see Santa. A few fires are laid out for those colder night, to help you move along. Drove over an hour and a half to see and was well worth it.

great place for family time, especially if you have kids. Much better and cheaper than those City drive-through lights. They have fire pits and you can spend time here, no rush to leaven or something. Just relaxing time with your loved ones.
