Plaza Bowling Co.

It's a bit like stepping back in time - not far, like the 60s- but far enough back that it is an experience. It's just plain good fun. Good staff, tasty eats, and five pin delight! (Park Plaza, the first mall in Edmonton, was situated in the adjoining site -- that NAIT now occupies-- hence the "Plaza" name.)

Plaza is the best place to celebrate and gather with a group of friends! The staff are so genuine and made the whole experience feel easy. I had some guests that were unsure of their attendance and Plaza was very accommodating of that. We appreciated how we could bring our own pizza and cake to keep everyone well fed and they had pitchers of waters at every table (so helpful, it gets warm in there!). Plenty of other large groups also had lanes at the same time as us, so it felt busy but that didn’t interfere with our experience as there was ample space to sit or stand. One of my friend’s had her baby with her and we were able to tuck the stroller in nearby as well. Highly recommend this location for your next gathering!! Thank you Plaza for an unforgettable birthday! P.S I’ll admit I didn’t ask if balloons were OK beforehand, but we kept them secured/out of the way and only brought them out for photo ops :)

Omg i love this old school joint. Walk in the front door, dts and to the counter to get your sweet shoes! 5 pin, beer ( solid selection) and fun! My daughter had the pilsner with a grilled cheese and it was fresh. Great tunes, throw those puppies down the lane and enjoy. Great space and we will be back🏅🤗🧡

A great classic Bowling Alley, comfortable and clean with old wooden benches and vintage score desks and 90' era computer scoring and fun graphics. If you’ve been bowling for years, the scoring system tracks your progress so you can focus on the game and enjoy yourself. The Canadian 5-pin bowling on original 50's hardwood lanes is fantastic. They offer a nice variety of beer, with eight taps pouring local craft beers, plus pop and cider options. Plaza also has a great selection of handheld snacks. Their rental shoes are in good condition, and the friendly and efficient service makes for a pleasant experience. The music is great, not too loud, creating a safe, welcoming, and fun atmosphere. It’s a great group activity spot in Edmonton. I would highly recommend Plaza Bowling as a great spot for a family or friends gathering.
