Downtown Auto Repair & Inspections & Tires

This is the most honest mechanic shop I have ever gone to. He actually did $400 of work and gave me such a huge discount because I didn’t have enough. It was a nicest gesture I’ve received. I highly highly recommend going here. The owner is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. He’s very fair and he’s very honest. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I needed to leave this one. Go see this guy for any of Your mechanical problems

I had such a good experience with Downtown Auto! From Phil the mechanic coming out to my vehicle to let me show him what I thought was wrong to Alisha calling who knows how many places to find the part for my Jeep.... and finding me a great price on a name brand part too!! The service was fast, efficient and well done. They are now the only place I will go to get work done on my wheeling Jeep! Thank you Downtown Auto!

The car wanted the electronic throttle body replaced. A not so cheap fix. My first time at Downtown for actual repairs. Pleasantly surprised that: A)they fixed it on the day they said they would. B) they fixed it for the price quoted and it was a very fair price. C) they didnt call me up an hour in saying " yaa we found all these other issues that want repaired immediatley or YOU'RE GONNA EXPLODE and it'll only cost a few thousand". I walked in waiting for that shoe to drop. They gave me the car, wished me a good weekend, out I went. Till I got out on the road I still kept expecting them to chase after me shouting about a bunch of other expensive stuff lol. Definatley impressed ! Certainly do reccomend !

These guys are awesome. Bought a vehicle and got it inspected and unfortunately this vehicle was in need of a lot of work. These guys were so amazing they hoisted the car up and personally pointed out all the things that were wrong and needed fixing. If it wasn’t for them I would have driven this vehicle a long distance. They quoted me an absolutely fair price and helped me out as much as they could. A wonderful team.

I came into the shop with a car I bought for very very cheap , I knew she would need some work. Jim was so kind and helpful. worked with my budget to make my car safe. I appreciate it so much! thank you! I will be back when she inevitably needs more matainence !
