Garden Bakery

Garden Bakery South Common is a cute little bakery with a welcoming atmosphere. The store is clean and nicely set up, and the staff were friendly. The selection of baked goods is fairly small, so there aren’t a lot of options to choose from. I also found the cake to be a bit overpriced for what it was. That said, the store itself is charming, and it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for a sweet treat.

There aren’t many authentic Hong Kong inspired food in Edmonton so when my partner and I found this spot - it was definitely a huge win! Their classic HK milk tea brings me back with the accompaniment of their delicious beef brisket noodle soup on a hot or cold day is always a must. The atmosphere is cutely decorated and is surrounded by classic HK desserts that are delicious and hard to find in Edmonton. Staff are always super friendly. This place is definitely one of my go-to’s and I highly recommend. Their food comes out so quick as well!

My partner and I have been to Garden Bakery South many times and we are always greeted with such kindness and hospitality. We came in today, got our usual orders (BBQ Pork Noodle Soup), and were surprised by the wonderful Michelle with a few sweet treats! She remembered us after not showing up in quite a while and she treated us so beautifully! If you're in the South Common area and craving pastries, a warm bowl of soup, or bubble tea, I 1000% recommend eating here at Garden Bakery 😄💗

My partner and I visit this bakery often, and although we hadn’t been there for a while, Michelle still remembered us! Every time we go, it’s always a wonderful experience. From the moment we walk in, the smell of freshly baked bread and pastries makes the place feel warm and welcoming. Michelle is incredibly friendly and patient, and the service overall is amazing. The bakery itself is clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a treat. It’s rare to find a place that combines great customer service, a comfortable atmosphere, and amazing baked goods all in one. We would definitely recommend this bakery to anyone looking for fresh pastries, tasty desserts, and even great food — the noodle and rice meals are delicious too! It’s always a pleasure coming back whenever we do.

Today we celebrated a birthday party at Garden Bakery. We selected high tea and we had about 13-14 people show up. It was wonderful. The service was amazing. It looked gorgeous. The desserts were DELICIOUS. Everyone loved it and we really enjoyed ourselves. I definitely recommend this experience.
