The Art of Cake

My favourite place to get cakes from! The cakes are always soft, fresh, and delicious. Also the decorations are beautiful. We got our wedding cake from here, and it was absolutely amazing. We’ve also gotten cakes and cupcakes from here for other special occasions, including our recent anniversary cake, and they have been consistently delicious every time. I also really appreciate how careful they are about nut allergies. My husband has a peanut allergy, so they always clearly warn us about the possibility of cross-contamination. Thankfully, he has never had an allergic reaction from any of the cakes we’ve ordered here. It is always reassuring for us to know that if I leave a note about the allergy, it will be taken seriously. I appreciate that they are so careful and transparent. Went for lunch with my sister and we ordered the egg and chicken salad sandwiches and shared. Egg salad was good. The chicken was excellent,with moist flavorful chicken. We had the cherry pie and lemon flan for dessert. Both were excellent. As was the pot of tea. Very nice overall with friendly staff and quick service.

This place has one of the best cupcakes I've ever tasted. The cupcake sponge is most, and decadent. The icing on the cake has depth of flavor, and balances the sweetness with the entire cupcake. I usually take the icing off cupcakes after tasting it, but this one was really good and I ate the entire thing. The atmosphere is unique and fun. Definitely a place I would recommend if your looking for quality cupcakes.

My wife and I were on the hunt for cupcakes and found this hidden gem! Here we were thinking we were driving to a bakery, boy was I wrong. The nostalgia alone is nothing short of amazing with warm, welcoming lighting and seating. The pictures I am sharing do not do this spectacular place justice, you need to experience it for yourself. My wife had a hot chocolate and her cupcake lol, and I had a London fog and a piece of carrot cake. Everything was excellent! This place is a 10/10 and we will be coming back for sure!!

I was recommended The Art of Cake by a friend to make my sister’s graduation cake and WOW! I will now be recommending them to anyone who asks. They not only nailed the custom design I wanted, but the cake itself was so unbelievably delicious. The bakery team were lovely and professional from initial enquiry to pick up. I wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars!!
