Comforting, flavour-packed chai and excellent wraps in a warm, lively café atmosphere with homemade baked goods and desserts that never seem to get old. Easy to enjoy whether staying awhile or grabbing something to go. For a fuller picture — Remedy Cafe, Edmonton, 109 Street offers the kind of café experience that quickly becomes part of people’s regular rotation. The flavours are bold, comforting, and satisfying in a way that keeps you thinking about the next visit before you have even left. The chai was absolutely mouth watering — rich, aromatic, and deeply flavourful. One of those drinks that feels just as perfect warming up on a cold Edmonton day as it does during a relaxed afternoon catch-up with friends. The food is excellent as well. The tandoori chicken wrap brought great warmth and flavour, while the palak paneer wrap delivered that savoury, comforting balance Remedy is known for. Everything tasted freshly prepared, satisfying, and easy to keep craving long after the meal is over. Another major highlight here is the homemade baked goods and desserts. There is a comforting consistency to the flavours and quality that makes it easy to keep returning without things feeling repetitive. Whether dining in or taking food to go, the experience feels welcoming, relaxed, and full of personality. Still quite busy even for a Sunday. Just grabbed a small coffee with a snack to go. Loved all the different varieties of sugar --> 8 in total! I tried some "cane sugar" on this stop. [ forgot to mention the great service 😀❣️
i love this location so much. it’s so cozy and homey feeling i hope they never update it because the sleek and modern coffee shops are so uncomfy to be in. i love the Kashmiri Chai so much it is my all time fav. i like coming here because they don’t blast music and they are genuinely a pillar of the community. i love seeing all the people the gather here :) :) i appreciate that they have dairy free and gluten free options. ive needed staff support to figure out options that are both df and gf but they are very knowledgeable and accommodating. i wish more of the major food components were listed on their menu because i got a wrap once that had mayo added and it really wasn’t too my taste—i wish i knew before ordering (i wouldn’t expect mayo in an indian fusion wrap so i didn’t think to ask) maybe this is a big ask (i don’t know beverage stocking prices, im no business owner) but i wish Remedy would try to stay a bit competitive by removing the upcharge for milk alternatives as other places in the city have.
Remedy Cafe has been my go-to spot for years, and I stopped in again just a couple days ago after a long morning run. The chai latte is genuinely one of the best in the city, perfectly spiced and not overly sweet the way so many places tend to make it. The staff are always friendly and seem to remember regulars, which gives the whole place a warm, neighborhood feel even when it gets busy. If you live in Edmonton and haven't made this part of your routine yet, you're really missing out.
Went here for the first with my friends, and the lady working there was sooo nice! Thank you for the good service🫶🫶 5/28/26’ 7:10pm-8pm

European-inspired cafe on 104 Street downtown. Known for beautiful lattes, pastries, and a warm atmosphere. A favourite with the downtown lunch crowd and remote workers.
