Credo Coffee

Stopped in Saturday afternoon around 2pm hoping to beat the rush and still ended up waiting a few minutes for a table, which tells you something about how good this place is. The lavender oat milk latte was balanced, not too sweet, and the almond croissant was flaky and clearly baked that morning. Staff behind the counter kept things moving fast even with the line out the door, and someone remembered my order from a previous visit months back. Big windows along the front let in great light for people watching on Whyte Ave, and the whole space has that easy, unhurried feel that makes you want to linger over a second cup.

I was honestly so sad when Remedy was gone, so I went on the hunt for a new coffee spot — and I’m beyond happy I found this little gem. From the second I walked in, the service was incredible. I was greeted right away with such warm energy, and the staff gave amazing recommendations when I asked what their most popular drinks were. I decided on the honey coffee paired with a Morning Glory muffin and my lorrrrrrd… absolutely unreal. The flavours were so comforting and delicious, it genuinely made my whole morning. You can really tell they care about both their customers and the quality of what they serve. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing coffee. Safe to say I’ve officially found my new favourite spot.

After a long walk we needed to unwind and man what a great cuppa. I had the Honey Latte which was delicious! We had a couple snacks (cookie and muffin) which were good. A nice great place to stop for a minute.

They accommodate dairy free with soy, almond and oat milk alternatives! Unfortunately they don't carry gluten free fresh baked or meal options, but they did have some artisan packaged snack and chocolate bars that looked to be free of gluten at $8+. I tried both the chai latte for $6 regular and the vanilla bean premium latte for $8 large +$2. The chai was good 7.5/10 but the vanilla bean premium latte was exquisite 9.3/10 - it was so good I mentioned to the barista how much I liked it. It closed at 4pm, but it was Sunday. I would come back just for the vanilla bean latte honestly. Three critiques for the owner if he reads this...First gluten free options are a must, because many people are looking for this, And Second the tables fit my 15" laptop, but were too small to use a mouse, which slowed my work at lest 40%, and there is only 1 bar and a table (which was full and I didn't see plugs). Either switch to a round table or tables a bit (7" or so wider) so one can fit a mouse. Also the bench needs some cushions. Other then that great coffee, and great service.

Came for breakfast on a Saturday. The breakfast egg wrap and the chicken wrap were both delicious! The single origin pourover and the latte were both excellent as well. Service was excellent and very friendly. Although I did takeout, it looked like it had plenty of space to comfortably relax.
