Blending bright, inviting design with a warm, family-run atmosphere is LaVazio Café. The coffee and espresso are smooth and balanced, and the pistachio-style tiramisu cup is rich and creamy. Welcoming, accessible, and stroller-friendly. Visited Winter 2026. For a closer look — LaVazio Café on 97 Street in Edmonton feels special the moment you step inside. The space is bright, fresh, and thoughtfully designed, with floor-to-ceiling windows, crystal-clear display cases, and modern accents that feel both inviting and polished. Ash, the owner, welcomed us personally—thank you for the complimentary coffee and espresso. It’s clearly a true family-run café, the kind of place where the owners genuinely enjoy eating there themselves, and that warmth carries through in both the hospitality and the food. The coffee was smooth and rich, and the espresso was expertly prepared—strong and balanced, without harsh acidity. The pistachio-style tiramisu served in a cup was a standout—creamy, well-balanced, and genuinely memorable—paired perfectly with a fresh, oven-warm croissant—bringing to mind quiet mornings in Rome. The menu invites return visits, and I’m looking forward to coming back to explore more of the savoury options. This is the kind of place that feels intentional yet comfortable—easy to linger, and easy to recommend.
I can not express to you all how comforting and inviting this café is! We were greeted and talked to like we had been coming for years! We had 2 hot drinks and a few desserts, we were not anything short of impressed! Thank you for having us tonight!
