This is such a lovely looking coffee shop. Always clean and presentable. Staff is super sweet as well. They also sell beautiful flowers inside and some snacks as well. They’re reasonable prices. Their cappuccino is one of the best I’ve had.
New coffee location with good hours and good coffee. Nice to see green space out the window as well instead of a parking lot. More tables will be needed as they get busier. Not too busy after 3 pm.
As always, I was pleasantly surprised to see a new Square 1 had popped up in the new medical building in Millwoods, at 7319-29th Ave. I had to wait for someone having an appointment so it was the perfect chill stop. I observed many people coming and going during my waiting time at Square 1, so seems to be a new and popular coffee spot! The two servers were efficient and got my order quickly. I love a good solid Square 1 decaf coffee with cream, since it’s never bitter. The ambience is restful and there is some seating in the restaurant but also through out the whole medical building, lots of places to sit and sip. Their morning glory muffin was moist and delicious and I’m a butter person, so I found it very moist and delish. The decor in the cafe was lovely, minimalist but with beautiful artwork gracing the walls. Highly recommend you stop in if you happen to be here and even if you don’t! It’s worth the drive to enjoy the upscale feel and a top class coffee experience.
A great addition to the Lakewood district neighbourhood. They have a great selection of food, drinks, and coffee beans. This location has just as much heart as the other locations. While it has much less seating inside the physical shop, the shop is surrounded by the community health centre seating. Kate was super nice and helpful!
This clean, relaxing little coffee shop was a really pleasant find. After an appointment in the building it was raining very hard outside, so I took a stroll through the main floor plaza and came across Square one. AJ made my salted caramel latté perfectly and with a smile that showed he wanted to be there and was invested in the outcome of my order. The latté came out extra-hot, as ordered and the cinnamon knot was just right, soft and warm. I waited out the rain in the comfort of the shop listening to the subdued jazz music and relaxing. I came in having found this shop by accident but I’ll return to have AJ make me another excellent latte and relax, on purpose. Good job and thanks.
