I like how this coffee shop is near the park and the water. You can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and your Turkish coffee. I had the beef press and it was surprisingly good. It's not chewy and the taste is great. Get it spicy if you can. We also had the Turkish coffee. It felt a little too small and I had to get an extra cup of coffee since it didn't do anything for me. My wife got their Turkish tea latte and cake. The latte was good. Very light.
The coffee was decent and my partner really enjoyed the baklava. However, I’m giving a low review because I wasn’t impressed with the fact the cashier/barista added in a 10% tip to the transaction of both mine and my partners total. She did it really fast hoping neither of us would see and I thought that was quite rude. Also, it appeared all the workers were sitting at a table when there were several tables that needed to be tidied. It didn’t bother us too much but it was just something to note about the overall atmosphere
Incredible flavour. 12/10 will be eating here again. Chicken sandwich was juicy and delicious. Service was fast. Baklava and Turkish coffee 12/10
Staff were very friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. Food and coffee was fantastic.
The food was phenomenal. Let me just get that out there... amazing. I got a chicken pida wrap and my gf got the beef one. Took 10 minutes to have our order taken, 20 minutes to get our coffee (the table beside us just got waters, they came at the same time as our coffees) and another 30 minutes to get our wraps. The manager came over and apologized, explaining that they were short staffed and food is made completely fresh. We understood that and just asked for a 5 or 10 percent discount, originally she declined but then at checkout she comped 1 of our coffees which was good to hear. If you only see 2 people behind the counter I'd recommend asking for the wait time. As most people go to a coffee shop for quick food, waiting almost an hour to get food might frustrate some. Food and drinks were great though, the food and comp'd drink saved this from being a 1 star on our first visit. Hopefully we just caught them on a rough day as many other reviews praise this place for its service. Will update if we go again :)
