Two Small Men with Big Hearts Moving

This was the worst experience of my life. While moving out the lead man drank beer and smoked a joint in front of us and my neighbours. He was very hyper and excitable, which made me uneasy. I had a big piece of art that I did not want them moving as it’s so fragile. That same man decided to take it down from the wall and pack it without telling me. After they drove away, I realized they had taken it and I called the driver with concerns. He told me he packed it ever so gently and made sure that it would not be damaged. He then told us we had to email Tips to everybody and how much we should have tipped him. He then proceeded to call me repeatedly for a few days to remind me about his tip. I called the company and explained what happened. Requested that he did not move me into the new house as you made me very uncomfortable and I did not want him knowing where I lived. I’ve been explained to the company about my priceless piece of art that is irreplaceable and a family heirloom. They understood that this man took the art without my permission. On the move into my new house, the heirloom was destroyed. It cannot be fixed. The artist has passed away and cannot help. It was absolutely beside myself. There were also other damages to furniture, lampshades, and wall hangings that were properly boxed, but were damaged during the move. The company will not compensate me for the artwork because I did not have it packaged properly, and it was my responsibility. However, I did not allow it to be taken and did not know it was gone until it was too late. The contract does not allow for mistakes like this therefore I am unable to claim, even though it was not my fault. I have to say they are not reliable or trustworthy and the contract sucks

Are you seeking a company that carelessly packs and damages your belongings? Are you looking for a company that significantly under-quotes your move? Are you looking for management that will not communicate with you about damages to your belongings and has no accountability for the damages their employees have caused? Are you looking for a company that improperly packs your items upside down in boxes while charging significantly more than another professional mover and not completing your move without attempting to charge you significantly more to complete the move they estimated? While unpacking my belongings, I can see that at least one of the three movers made a sincere effort and did a commendable job for the work required.

We had 2 men move us on June 23,2026, they were both so excellent to work with, very friendly, they were on time and very quick to move things out quickly and carefully. When we arrived at our new place they did an amazing job bringing everything in and placing it where I wanted it. They were very pleasant to deal with and I would highly recommend this company to everyone . I was very pleased from start to finish. They made my move so easy from the first phone call to the end move.

We went to Chilliwack with a trailer to move my mother to Alberta but realized that the trailer was not big enough. I contacted Two Small Men with Big Hearts and they bent over backwards to get a truck to me quickly. We had only 3 days to be out of the house and they were there the next day and had a couple guys come out from Vancouver to help the driver load. Fantastic.

Disappointed in the care and service that this local company provided. We had movers who did not do their due diligence in treating our home with respect. There were many extensive scratches and dents in the walls and railings of our brand new home. They ripped a hole in the cushion of our sofa. The company offered us $50 as compensation which doesn’t even begin to cover all the damages. I would not recommend this company.
