Not consistent experience. I shopped once and I was very happy with the service and products. Another time the place smelled badly, the clerk ignored me and the product didn't have price attached, and I certainly overpaid. The best business practice is to keep standards high, clean frequently and provide training to all employees. I am ready and willing to expand my shopping beyond big box grocery chains, but the experience has to be consistent. Please improve and I will shop more frequently.
I had a wonderful experience with their meat section, especially with Alaa. She is amazing and extremely helpful. I regularly order chicken and beef, and they always cut them exactly the way I request. I have also ordered marinated chicken and kafta, and everything was prepared beautifully and with great care from Alaa.. The quality and service are consistently excellent. Highly recommended!
Please be cautious when shopping at this store. I strongly recommend always monitoring your purchases at the cashier, carefully checking the scanned prices, and making sure to take your receipt every time. Never leave without reviewing it. I have repeatedly noticed discrepancies between the prices displayed and the prices charged at checkout, particularly on reduced items . Many items are marked as reduced on the shelf tags, but when scanned, they are charged at the original full price. This has happened to me multiple times. Additionally, I have found reduced items that were already 4 to 6 months past their expiry date. Customers should be very careful and always check expiry dates before purchasing discounted products. I have been a customer of this store for four years, and these observations are based on my frequent shopping experiences. I believe customers deserve accurate pricing and proper transparency at checkout. My advise: pay attention to your cashiers.
Amazing service at WestGate Halal Meat & Deli I had a great experience shopping here , the store is always clean, the meat is fresh, and the staff are very welcoming. A special shoutout to Alaa, who was super kind and helpful! She really made the visit pleasant with her friendly attitude and great customer service. Definitely my go-to spot for halal products!
Awesome staff, good Mediterranean needs and food freshly cooked in store. You can also buy asian spices. Meat selection is good. The butchery department always listen to your needs and if needed they'll cut the meat for you as requested. Visiting this family store from a decade. I can buy KDD chocolate milk here, my favorite 😍
