My husband and myself went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had so much fun, atmosphere was calm and relaxing, the manager was super friendly and she gave us a free cookie for celebrating our anniversary there and her staff was so kind. 10/10 will go back

I’m genuinely tempted to gatekeep this place so they never run out of ingredients for their (or more specifically—Hannah’s) strawberry iced matcha… but the people deserve to know. Hannah makes the best strawberry iced matcha I have ever had, and I’m not being dramatic!! I first came here about two months ago to paint with my best friend, and the entire experience was a 10/10. The vibe is cutesy, and the staff are so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. That first night, I ordered two strawberry iced matchas because one simply was not enough. Since I work in downtown Edmonton, during my breaks I’ve been on a mission to find one that compares. I’ve tried café after café, and honestly nothing has even come close. I went back yesterday and didn’t even paint—I came solely for the matcha. I’m not sure if it’s their specific recipe that’s so good, or specifically the way Hannah makes it. But to my luck, she was there to make it herself and it was even better than the first time. To say this drink has altered my brain chemistry would be an understatement. I’ll be coming here weekly for the foreseeable future, simply just for a drink—Hannah, send me your schedule girl lol. If you’re a strawberry matcha person, run, don’t walk!!! 🍓🍵

Really disappointed with our experience! The pottery was already very expensive, which we accepted because we were looking forward to spending time together. After my sister, my brother’s girlfriend , and I had all paid to paint, my brother wanted to simply sit with us and chat. We were then told he would have to pay $20 just to sit at the table, despite not painting anything. That felt completely unreasonable. To make matters worse, the employee we dealt with came across as rude, uninterested, and more focused on charging people than creating a welcoming experience. We felt like we were inconveniencing him just by being there. Honestly, you'd probably have more fun buying a pottery painting kit from the dollar store or a craft store and doing it at home with friends. The experience here just wasn't worth the price. It's unfortunate because this place isn't what it used to be. The atmosphere and customer service have really gone downhill, and it's a shame because there are so many creative, friendly people who would probably love to work there and make customers feel welcome. After seeing the reviews here lately and my bad experience I want management to look into their employees. The man working today on July 1st was very rude and horrible at this job.

My experience here was just okay, I would not go back. The staff seemed rather un-enthused and gave us a vague run down of how things would work, and then we still had to watch a video on the painting instructions, which seemed pointless (why can't the staff just tell us instead of us having to go through a QR code and watch a video?) We wanted to paint mugs initially, but the selection was super limited to we had to choose other items. We were the only two people in there at first, and we were told we had to get up to get the paint when we needed it from the main table by the counter. A few other tables with two people came in after us, and they were given paints for their own tables, and painting aprons, neither of which we received… 
The food and drinks were super pricey, on top of the fees for the items to paint. Again we were the only ones in there, and there were two staff members behind the counter. We wanted to order snacks, but they told us we had to do it on their touch screen. We had to manually type in everything we wanted in a text box and pay there, while the employees stood there. Then we went back to our table, and the employee YELLED over (didn’t even walk over) to tell us that what we typed out didn’t come through their system, so I had to go up and order with him at the counter anyway which was so tedious and a waste of time (why couldn’t we just order with them in the first place instead of them standing there watching us order on a screen?) When we went to go pick up our paintings 10 days later, everything was super disorganized and took them a long time to locate one of our items (the employee had needed to go search for it in the back). While we were there, a man and his daughter were there also picking up their ceramics only to find they had been misplaced (we left being seeing the full outcome of this but the family was very upset) Overall the painting itself was fine, but I would rather go somewhere else with more options and staff that actually care.
