I really enjoyed my time and experience at Tommie Salon. Dianne is awesome, my hair cut was done very well. It turned out exactly like I wanted it to. I left feeling amazing. I highly reccomend! I can't wait to go back for more services.

I am so happy with Dianne, at Tommie Salon, and all of her knowledge that she shared with me about my hair type, and how to work with it! My hair looks and feels better than it has in a long time! And I now know how to take the correct care with the right products for my hair type. Thank you Dianne!

Brandy has been doing my hair for years. I've never loved my hair more! She is talented with any colour you could possibly want. If you can dream it, she can help you get there. She is very personable, easy to talk to and work with. Good listener and knowledgeable on styling and products. Will go back to her as long as she'll have me and always highly recommend her services.

Well, I’ve had to part ways, maybe it was a mutual separation of sorts. I admit that I may unordinary, anxious (due to past bad experiences), neurodivergent with OCD, a gluten allergy; sober to alcohol; particular, & not their usual “wealthy boomer Caucasian” client. I was in search for a human great with curly hair, so I cold called one day last year or so. Got matched with Kareena - who, the human on the phone said has curly hair herself and has experience. I like browsing a website prior to going somewhere new. However, the website is confusing as Kareena has a bio, however one cannot book an appointment with Kareena online, unlike all other stylists. The website is also glitchy with Dianne and Brandy’s pictures are together with Brandy’s profile on there with no picture. This is also the case for Lindsay and Sydney’s pictures/bios. Also, if you search for “curly hair”, it’s listed only under Kareena and she does not wear her curls on the picture or IRL (she always straightens her hair, which makes me think that she doesn’t like curls). I have mentioned these nuances to Kareena, who is supposedly the marketing and website charge; and she pretended to listen, but it looks like she didn’t care enough to fix these things since I mentioned it in October last year even. I’ve bought products as per the salon recommendations, when I mentioned that I wanted curly girl products with no keratin or silicones. They recommended products but when I took them home and sat down to look at the fine print on the bottles, the products they recommended had keratin. They said that they were always happy to take returns if I didn’t like them; so I did this a couple times; with a passive aggressive mention from the front manager, which made me feel belittled. Maybe product transparency from the stylists would help an anxious client like me who struggled to find products for fine bleached and colored curls that weigh down. I’ve seen Kareena a couple times over the past year, and had tried to dm her on IG (as per her preference to book appointments as the website doesn’t have this for her), but she ignored my message. I finally got a response from her last week apologizing for the delay, and she said that she not taking clients and that she could pawn me to someone else? I’m so confused as I thought that I already was her client lol. I’ve also had death stares from other stylists like Anglela, like she was judging me, which is uncalled for. I mean, it’s sad the way I was treated overall, and I will find a salon that’s welcoming to all sensitive, anxious and neurodiverse humans. Bye.
