I did Halo Academy's in-person Gel Nail Extensions Certification program around 4 months ago. My goal was to start doing nails professionally part-time. I went from having only done my own nails and a few friends' nails to starting up an at-home studio and taking clients in less than a month. I cannot express how supportive and inspiring Keesha is. She is a very welcoming, positive and skilled teacher (coming from someone who struggles with traditional school). I was looking for a course that felt relevant to today's industry and demand; the services, products, and trends. Halo ticked all the boxes and didn't disappoint. I was unsure if 5 days would feel like enough time to grasp an industry's worth of knowledge, but Keesha does a really great job of providing an intensive crash course in a short time without ever feeling like it is rushed. It was amazing (and kinda unbelievable) how ready I felt to start taking clients. Keesha is the biggest supporter of all of her past students and as a Halo graduate, it feels like you are part of a supportive community of alumni. I know if I ever needed advice or support, she would be there to reach to. Cannot recommend enough for anyone ready to kickstart a career in nails! 🩷☺️

One of the easiest 5 stars I have ever given out. Keesha at Halo Nail Academy is simply the best! Her instruction is precise, straightforward, and she is so easy to listen and pay attention to. Her continuing education is amazing, the videos are easy to follow along with, and her critique is so very helpful. Not to mention, she is a gorgeous person inside and out, a highly talented artist and does amazing nails! Anyone looking for instruction on how to improve and level up their nail game, using high quality fun products should register with Keesha! 10/10

I really enjoyed Keesha’s In Person Sculpted Gel Nail Extension Certification Program. She is friendly, patient, and takes the time to guide you through each technique, making sure you understand every step. I especially appreciated that she made sure everyone could see the demonstrations clearly, which made it easy to follow along during the lesson. She was always willing to answer questions and provide helpful feedback when needed. The online videos were also very helpful because I could review the techniques after class and practice on my own. After taking this course, I feel much more confident using an e-file and applying the techniques I learned. I would definitely recommend Keesha’s class to anyone interested in becoming a nail technician. Thank you, Keesha, for being so supportive throughout the training.

Keesha has been such an amazing instructor throughout my nail course. She’s patient, supportive, and explains everything in a way that actually makes sense. I always felt comfortable asking questions, and she never made me feel judged — she genuinely wants her students to succeed. Her feedback was super helpful and made me feel more confident with every set I did. I’m really grateful for everything I learned and for how encouraging she was the whole way through. I completed the Online Sculpted Gel Nail Certification at the beginning of March and it was amazing. Keesha is a wonderful teacher. Her feedback was always encouraging and constructive. The course itself is laid out so well that it makes learning online feel natural and achievable. I will always recommend this course and any of Keesha’s classes. She is truly amazing!!
